Justin Ward is the CEO/Head Dog Trainer in Ward's Dog Training. He is a certified Canine Training and Behavior Specialist. He currently owns 2 dogs; Hulk, a 6yr old Boxer-Bernese mountain dog mix, who is highly trained in Obedience, Clicker and off leash training, and a 1 year old beagle currently in training. Sarge, our beloved 12yr old Golden Retriever was a Canine Good Citizen, Certified by th

e AKC, and trained in Obedience, Beginning Service Dog Training, and Clicker, we miss him dearly. Justin is a local graduate of Midlothian High school with a Bachelors in Business from Texas A&M Commerce, an Eagle Scout, and a Graduate of Starmark Dog Training Academy with a Certification as a Certified Canine Training & Behavior Specialist. ⭐ Employee Spotlight: Emmett Sears ⭐
Emmett has been part of the Ward’s Dog Training team for the past 6 months, starting as a kennel technician and working his way up to become a trainer. His dedication, work ethic, and passion for animals have made him a valuable member of our team.
With a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Faulkner University in Montgomery, Alabama, Emmett brings a unique perspective to dog training. His experience extends far beyond dogs, having worked and lived with ferrets, parrots, guinea pigs, rats, cats, hamsters, fish, and more. He is also a volunteer and board member with Texas Ferret Lovers Rescue and previously volunteered with Service Dogs Alabama.
When asked about his favorite part of the job, Emmett shared:
“Being able to combine my love for dogs and my passion for psychology into helping harmonize the beautiful relationships between humans and our canine companions, allowing them to live alongside one another in mutualistic, joyous homes.”
Outside of work, Emmett enjoys art, psychology, sociology, fitness, and rock and roll.
We’re grateful to have Emmett on the Ward’s Dog Training team and can’t wait to see the impact he continues to make on the dogs and families we serve!

Meet Jackie, one of our amazing trainers here at Wards Dog Training!
Jackie has been a valued member of the Wards Dog Training team since 2023 and brings over five years of experience working with dogs. Her patience, dedication, and genuine passion for helping every dog succeed shine through in every training session.
Passionate about building confidence and encouraging positive socialization, Jackie loves helping dogs learn to navigate the world around them. Whether she’s working with shy pups who need a little extra support or helping dogs develop better relationships with people and other dogs, she is committed to helping each one reach their full potential.
Her favorite part of training is watching dogs gain confidence and seeing the lasting impact that training can have on their lives. Jackie’s intuitive understanding of canine behavior, combined with her commitment to helping every dog thrive, makes her an invaluable part of our team.

Meet Zoe, one of our dedicated trainers here at Wards Dog Training!
Zoe has been training with Wards Dog Training for the past 5 years, and it’s where her journey as a dog trainer first began. What started as a love for dogs quickly grew into a passion for helping dogs and their owners build stronger relationships.
Passionate about communication, trust, and understanding, Zoe believes training is about much more than teaching commands. Through structure, play, and teamwork, she helps dogs become happier, more confident members of the family while strengthening the bond they share with their owners.
