Terri is a 7-year-old brindle pitbull with the energy of a toddler and the nap schedule of a grandma. She loves going for walks, rolling in the grass like she’s auditioning for a shampoo commercial, and enthusiastically launching toys across the room… before deciding it's nap time again.

She walks like a dream on leash, enjoys cuddle time on the couch, and has perfected the art of binge-watching movies (yes, she will judge your Netflix choices).

🚨 A quick heads-up: Terri wants to be your one and only. No other animals, please. She had a rough run-in with other dogs when she was younger, and now she prefers to be the queen of her castle—no royal court needed.

Terri would do best with someone who’s got a little dog experience under their belt and a whole lot of love to give. She’s funny, affectionate, loyal, and totally worth it. If you’ve got the space in your home and heart for one unforgettable pup, Terri’s waiting.

Animal Control has unfortunately picked up a deceased female black and white long haired cat. Four white paws, white mark under right eye going into full white neck. Cat is microchipped but unfortunately not registered to anyone. Found near the North fire station and Clay st. Please give us a call if this is your cat. 508-946-2455

DOUBLE TROUBLE (the fluffy, drooly kind)

Meet Moose & Bailey:

Moose – 5-year-old neutered male. Weighing in at an astounding 215 pounds . Equal parts cuddly bear and drool sprinkler system. Moose believes personal space is a myth and that your lap is absolutely where he belongs.

Bailey – 6-year-old spayed lady, stomach tacked and ready to party! A 120 pounds beauty. She’s fabulous with kids, loves other dogs, and politely requests no cats, please.

Both are up to date on shots and currently not living at the shelter because… well… Moose can’t really fit.

The Ideal Home:
• Room for two colossal cuddlebugs
• High tolerance for drool (consider investing in a mop company)
• Zero cats
• Plenty of treats, belly rubs, and maybe reinforced flooring

***Notice to residents***
We have been made aware of power outages throughout Town. Effective immediately, the Nichols Middle School will be open to those needing shelter from the extreme heat. Pets are also welcome. If you need transportation to the shelter, please call the Fire Department business line (508) 947-2323 The shelter will be open until 8pm then the Fire Chief will determine if it should stay open later.
The Middleborough Public Library will also be staying open until 11pm as a cooling center.
