We wanted to share a wonderful update with you all!

Sergio has been with his permanent foster family for a little while now, and we couldn't be happier for him! ❤️

He is absolutely loving life with his family and has settled in so incredibly well. We are beyond grateful to his foster family for opening their hearts and home to him, giving him the wonderful life he deserves, and showering him with so much love.

And the best update of all? Sergio is up 16 pounds! 🎉 If you remember what Sergio looked like when he first came to us, you know just how amazing and meaningful that is.

Stories like Sergio's are what make this job so rewarding. Watching an animal get a second chance and seeing them thrive is truly the best feeling in the world. We want to thank everyone who has helped and supported Sergio through his recovery😊

We love happy endings and Sergio's is one we'll never forget.

🌼 Meet Daisy 🌼

Can you believe this beautiful girl is 10 years old?

Daisy has truly aged like fine wine and is proof that senior dogs still have so much love, life, and adventure left to give.

Daisy is looking for a home where she can be the star of the show. She would prefer to be the only dog in the household, as she's not a fan of sharing her space with other canine companions. However, she has successfully lived with a cat in the past! We think Daisy would do best in a home with children 12 years and older.

While she may be a little shy when meeting new people, once Daisy warms up, she is as sweet as pie. Her favorite things include swimming, chasing after a ball, and curling up for snuggles with her favorite humans.

Daisy does have some arthritis in her back hips, but don't let that fool you… this girl doesn't let it slow her down one bit! She still enjoys getting out and having fun while taking life at her own pace.

After 10 years, Daisy deserves a family who will see just how special she is. She's patiently waiting for her perfect people to come along and give her the loving forever home she deserves.

Bailey is has made her way home to her family😊

Please be on the lookout for Bailey. She is six months old and last seen near Corinne Parkway here in Middleborough. She was last seen with a light blue collar on. If you see her DO NOT CALL OR CHASE. Contact middleborough police department at 508-947-1212 or Middleborough Animal Control at 508-946-2455.

A huge thank you to Savannah and Rose for choosing our shelter for their senior project!

These two amazing young women created and donated a community pet pantry that is now located right here at the shelter. The pantry is available for anyone in need of pet supplies, helping families keep their beloved pets happy, healthy, and at home.

We are so grateful for their kindness, hard work, and dedication to helping both animals and members of our community.

If you or someone you know is in need of pet food or supplies, please stop by the shelter and take whatever you need. We are proud to offer this resource to our community thanks to Savannah and Rose’s thoughtful project!

Please note this is different from our Donation bin. Donation bin items support the animals here at the shelter. The pet pantry is for the community😊🤍🐶

All puppies have been adopted and found their forever homes. Thank you to everyone who applied🤍🐶

We have three adorable 10 week old puppies looking for their forever homes! The funny part? They all look completely different from one another, so your guess is as good as ours on what they are mixed with! We are thinking mom may have been an Akita mix, but exactly how big or small these pups will end up is truly a mystery box. 📦🐶

Like all puppies, they are full of energy and personality! They love chewing on toys… and sometimes each other, running around like tiny maniacs, and exploring absolutely everything they can get into. Puppy adopters should be prepared for all the normal puppy antics, training, patience, and lots of love.

These babies came from a very bad situation and are now ready to start fresh with families who will love and care for them forever.

• Puppies require time, training, and commitment

Meet Champ ❤️
Champ is an 8 year old yellow Labrador Retriever looking for a very special home to help him through the next chapter of his life. This sweet senior boy is heartworm positive and has a long road of treatment ahead of him, but through it all his tail never stops wagging.
We are searching for an adopter with extensive knowledge of heartworm treatment and the commitment to see Champ through every step of the process. His treatment costs have already been covered, however his future family will be responsible for administering medications and bringing him to all necessary veterinary appointments.
One of the most important parts of heartworm treatment is strict activity restriction. Dogs undergoing treatment must remain extremely calm and avoid strenuous activity to keep them safe, so Champ is looking for a quiet, low-energy home where he can relax and recover comfortably.
Champ has likely never lived inside a home before, so there may be a few learning curves as he adjusts to family life. But with patience, love, and guidance, we know this boy will thrive. He is truly as sweet as they come and deserves a soft place to land while he heals.

-Would be okay with kids as long as they understand his activity restrictions.
-Would do okay with other dogs (preferably calm ones)
-would not do well with cats or small animals

I would like to thank everyone who came to our open house Adoption Event today. I am extremely pleased to say that Ranger has been adopted and moved into his new forever home this afternoon.
