Hi everyone! 😀 I apologize for the social media hiatus. Running a sanctuary, and working in healthcare can be overwhelming. I am constantly juggling and social media is unfortunately the ball I dropped. However, everyone who has ever supported us deserves updates on the animals you helped us to save, so here it comes!

First and most important, everyone is happy and healthy! 🥳

The ducks got a habitat upgrade! See video of them hanging out in their new space!

All three pigs are happily coexisting still! 🙏 Scarlett and Val maintain separate residences and Henry wanders back and forth seeking belly rubs wherever he can find them.

Not much to update on the geese and roosters. Our bird residents have really taken to our new staff members. ❤️ Martin, Bieber and Frey are really loving having new girlfriends to give them attention!

The goat family is doing well. Galadriel and Radagast are being treated for eye infections. Whether they like it or not, this means they are getting lots of extra attention and socialization!

Thanks to our wonderful staff and my supportive partner and parents, the animals are happy, the sanctuary is running smoothly, I am catching up on projects, and I am finally finding time to enjoy my life! I am so grateful to everyone who has stuck around and been a part of this journey!

The sanctuary recently suffered another loss too great for words. 💔 I had to say goodbye to Bobby Sue, my best friend in the whole world. Bobby and Ike were both with me for 16 years. Through college and grad school, through multiple moves and relationships, several cross country adventures, and they were the best little farm dogs the sanctuary could ask for. Bobby was the most loving and loyal companion and I will miss her forever.
