My precious indoor boys have finally flown the nest! 👏👏👏 Frey and Karuna came to us as babies after they were found alone in a yard separated from their flock. We took them in urgently and raised them in the house. Although they spent their days outside I continued to bring my babies in at night for extra attention and TV time. But it's time for this mama to accept they are grown men ready for their own place! 😅 I set them up with a predator proof bedroom where they can still sleep side by side with their best friend. It has been a bit of an adjustment but the boys are settling in well to their new routine! ❤️🐓🐓❤️

I have been avoiding social media after the sanctuary suffered a loss too profound to post about. My first born child, and sanctuary cofounder Ike passed away a few weeks ago. 💔 He was the best boy and 16 years together wasn't nearly enough. That's all I can say while continuing to function, but please stay tuned for more adorable animals who still need your love and support!

Our beautiful mama goat Galadriel gave us a real scare this week! This medical emergency served as a reminder of how grateful I am to all our generous donors, volunteers, sponsors, and supporters. ❤️ We genuinely could not do this without you!

Galadriel is night blind. The poor girl ran face first into a metal door and sustained a nasty laceration above her eye. 😭 We called out the emergency vet right away and got our girl the care she deserves. 4 hours, 10 stitches, and $600 later Galadriel is on the mend!

Your generous contributions make it possible for us to continue to provide lifelong care to our sanctuary residents. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has contributed to our sanctuary so cost doesn't have to be a consideration in emergencies like this.
