Today my mom would have been 79, this was her 70th birthday, complete with her best buddy, a little cake with a side of oxygen.

My moms last wish was to have a new baby and it was such a joy that I could do that for her, the excitement Ariya brought her in her final month of life was worth everything to me and my sister.

I tried the vinegar solution to eliminate vegetation.

The pics are before, 24 hours after the first spraying and a week later the results 24 hours after the second spraying.

Normally I use Eliminator vegetation killer but it’s a juggling act to keep the dogs and cats away from it for a few days so I wanted to try this so there was no toxicity to my pets.

I have been very surprised at the results.

1 gallon white vinegar
2 cups salt
1/4 cup dish soap

For best results spray during the hottest sunniest part of the day, I have a job so that time frame is not possible. I spray at 8pm and got these results just imagine if I sprayed when it’s suggested.

Be very careful when purchasing dogs, board/train services, boarding, etc

Fun story:

When I bought my first SchH dog out of Germany, had it shipped to a breeder/exporter in New Mexico who would in turn fly it to Tulsa OK where I would pick it up. A couple days following my wire transfer paying for the dog went though I decided to look up this person on the web (I don’t know what made me do a search) up came a Rip Off report, 🤬 I go in and read it, it’s the person I’m dealing with, who according to the report - imports dogs, receives payment and never releases the dog to the purchaser - I began to panic!

I call a friend of mine at 1am tell him to get dressed we have to go to New Mexico right now! We drove 10 hours to surprise the importer and get my dog!

Sometimes you gotta do whatcha gotta do.

Do your research BEFORE even contacting a breeder, board/train facility or even boarding your dog, don’t be like me driving across country to save your purchase, don’t lose money like I easily could have, learn from my mistake and save yourself the head and heart ache!

An East Texas breeder pleaded guilty last week to four counts of wire fraud after a viral dog shooting video led to the discovery of her unlicensed breeding facility in December 2025.

Don’t forget to secure your dogs, be thoughtful of neighbors, not all people and pets tolerate the 💥.

Ariya, who was trained on gunfire as a baby, who has never had issues with loud noise is not tolerating the fireworks this year. Ariya has slept primarily in the safe room for the last week. This is also the first year without any canine family and I believe that’s the problem as a whole.

It’s that time of year, hotter than heck outside.

In Oklahoma it was 93 degrees today, your dog does not need to accompany you anywhere you can’t take them in with you.

Leave them at home!

Ariya is outside from 7am to 10am, she goes riding with me only if I’m not exiting the truck.
