There are a few different ways to donate to Project Hope!
*If you'd like to use PayPal, you can use the email address of [email protected] as the recipient. And, if this in memory of someone, or if you'd like us to send an acknowledgement of your gift to someone, put that in the notes or message us here on Facebook.
*You can also send us a check at Project Hope Humane Society, P.O. Box 125, Metropolis, IL 62960.
*Another way is to call the shelter directly and speak to the staff at 618-638-4555. They can take your credit card information over the phone. The phones are answered from 1-5 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday. **We appreciate your support for the animals!! Please message us if you have questions!!

One of our board members actually had this sweet girl come up to her on her front porch this morning!!

Emma has been found 🔸

Lost - miniature black labradoodle that answers to Emma.
She's been missing in the vicinity of 19th street North Avenue.
She has half of a chewed leash attached to her collar.
It's pink.

Thank-you C & W Automotive Repair for purchasing our old Dodge Van!! As some of you may have noticed, our maroon Dodge van has been sitting on our parking lot for some time, not useable and rather an eyesore with the broken window. It was time for it to move on!! You might liken it to an organ donor, as several of its parts will be reused and then it will go on to the scrapyard to be recycled!!

The Metropolis City Council approved street closure for the Super Fast and Furriest Car Cruise-In, so we are set to go! This will be September 13th, from 4-8. We are looking for craft vendors and food trucks for that day. Let us know if you would like to set up!

Meet Twyla! This sweet girl was found by a very kind couple last year as a stray, but unfortunately they were not able keep her. They were kind enough to get her spayed and vaccinated, and she is ready to find her very own fur-ever home! We were so saddened to hear of the passing of Donna Altenberger, and then a few days later, her husband Roger. Both were long time supporters of Project Hope Humane Society, and such nice people!! Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Our featured pet today is Muppet, a sister to Puppet (the kitty with limited vision that was recently adopted). This sweet girl is a little over a year old, and unlike her sister, has no issues with her eyesight. She is very friendly and likes other cats! Muppet is up to date on all vaccines, spayed and microchipped. Call us at 618-638-4555 to make an appointment to come and meet her, or message us here on Facebook. Project Hope Humane Society is open Tuesday -Saturday from 1-5 pm, but does prefer you make an appointment before coming, to avoid crowding in the shelter.
*Some of you may have seen a different picture earlier, because I had unknowingly put up a picture of Twyla the cat. We will try to feature her tomorrow! Sorry about the mistake, but the happy news is that both cats are available for adoption!
