Our Cowhide Chews are back in stock. Made from grass-fed & finished cattle, these long-lasting chews offer more than something to keep your dog occupied.

Cowhide is animal-derived connective tissue, naturally rich in collagen and its characteristic amino acids, including glycine and proline. It offers a different type of animal tissue than muscle meat and another way to incorporate more of the animal.

The act of working through a cowhide also satisfies a dog’s natural drive to chew while providing sustained mental engagement and enrichment. Repetitive chewing can be a calming, satisfying activity that keeps both the mind and body occupied.

And the source of that hide matters to us. Our cowhide comes from grass-fed & finished cattle—raised and finished on forage rather than transitioning to a grain-based finishing diet. How an animal is raised and fed influences the composition of its tissues, which is why our sourcing standards extend beyond muscle meat and organs to the hides and connective tissues we offer.

Bison Tendons are back in stock.

Made from 100% grass-fed + grass-finished bison, because sourcing matters all the way down to the tissue.

Tendon is naturally rich in collagen and connective tissue, with small amounts of fat woven throughout and around it. An animal’s diet can influence the fatty-acid profile of its tissues, and grass-finished ruminants generally have a different fat composition than grain-finished animals—including a more favorable omega-6 to omega-3 balance and higher levels of certain beneficial fatty acids.

For us, that makes grass-fed + grass-finished sourcing an important part of offering a simple, single-ingredient chew.

Why did we create WholePrey Balance?

Most digestive support products begin with plant fibers, gums, or binders. We wanted an option that aligned more closely with prey model raw feeding—using fur, feathers, cartilage, connective tissue, and skeletal structures to provide nutrient-containing structural fiber in a convenient Air-Dried format.

With three distinct whole-prey formulas, only a small amount is needed to support different digestive needs and feeding routines. Mix it into food, sprinkle it over meals as a functional topper, or offer it on its own.

A very important part of raising wildlife in rehabilitation is providing the proper diet. Every species has unique nutritional needs and meeting those needs is essential for healthy growth and development.

Carnivores like coyotes and bobcats require a raw diet that closely mimics what they would eat naturally. They need muscle meat, nutrient-rich organs, edible bones and even fur from whole prey to provide complete nutrition and support healthy digestion.

What makes a Prey Model Raw diet “prey-inspired”?
