2 x 2 Rescue is dedicated to bettering the lives of overlooked, neglected, or special needs shelter animals. It is our belief that some animals need more attention with medical, social, or behavioral issues than most shelters are willing or able to give. We are dedicated to educating the public about the animals in need, and how they can help. Prevention and education are the key factors in animal

care. Each animal deserves the perfect forever home and it is our commitment to them that we find it.

2 x 2 Rescue was founded by two like minded woman animal lovers. After years in the shelter environment, it became clear that some of the animals that were most in need were being overlook for various reasons. It was then that Victoria Beasley and Tara Stanley decided they would determine who most needed help with medical, behavioral, and social issues. It will be at a time when the animal is well mentally and physically that it will be placed in a forever home. We are completely based out of foster homes, and we do not have a physical shelter that you can come and visit.

**If you are interested in an animal, the first step is to fill out an adoption application at: http://bit.ly/WxYi8a. Once your app is submitted someone from our rescue will contact you. Our adoption fees are as follows:

Adult Dog (1 year and older) - $400.00
Puppy ( Less than 1 year old) - $400.00
Adult Cat - $150.00
Kitten - $150.00
Exotics and others - Please Inquire

PLEASE NOTE - We are a volunteer based rescue, all of the members, fosters and officers of this rescue have jobs and families. Please be patient, as some days are busier than others and application review can take a little more time. We look for the best application for each pet, we are NOT a first come, first served group. ALSO, please contact your vet and personal references and let them know we will be calling, in order to expedite the review process.

Blind cats excel at compensating for vision loss by supercharging their other senses, especially hearing, smell, and touch, to navigate their surroundings and form mental maps. They can live happy, normal lives, requiring owners to provide a safe indoor environment. Abu is blind. He navigates the whole house (even the stairs!) by memory and touch. Abu is an amazing cat that has been overlooked again and again. He helps foster many kittens and cats, and he still waits so patiently as each one gets adopted, leaving him behind. Sharp is a neutered male medium mixed breed. He is about 9 months of age and the most beautiful boy. Sharp got his name from his stunning tiger stripes that make him look so Sharp. He was a stray at a local animal control facility where he was never reclaimed. His ideal home would have at least one other young playful dog, and he loves cats, too! This handsome young man is a high-energy dog who will require daily exercise to keep his mind healthy. Structured training in a class environment would greatly benefit him as well.
