Meet Gracie, our Pup of the Week.

Gracie is preparing for TPLO surgery in mid-July, and her family joined the TopDog Health Facebook group to learn as much as possible about recovery and rehabilitation before surgery day.

That is exactly what this community is here for. Pet parents can ask questions, share progress, learn from others with similar stories, and feel supported through every stage of the recovery journey.

Gracie will be 12 in November, and we are so glad her family found a place where they do not have to navigate this alone.

Cold therapy can be especially helpful during the first 72 hours after surgery, when swelling and inflammation are often at their highest.

Applied correctly, it can help constrict blood vessels, reduce swelling, and soothe sore tissue. Always place a towel between the cold pack and your dog’s skin, limit sessions to about 10 to 15 minutes, and follow your surgeon’s specific instructions.
