💙 A Letter from the Owner💙
What an incredible day at Celebrate Wallingford! It meant so much to see so many of our current TLC families stop by, and we absolutely loved meeting so many new faces and future members of the TLC family.
Thanks to this amazing community, we raised $700 in Minnie’s honor for Perfect Imperfections Rescue and Sanctuary—a cause incredibly close to our hearts.
Watching TLC grow through your referrals, recommendations and trust has been something I’m incredibly proud of. And as we continue to grow, I can promise you firsthand that one thing will never change: every pet entrusted to TLC will be loved and cared for as if they were our own.

🌧️ Rainy Day Fun Fact 🐾

Not every dog loves a rainy day — and for some pets, thunderstorms can be genuinely stressful.
Meet Gizmo. ❤️ On stormy days, a little extra comfort and reassurance helps him feel safe and secure.

A few stormy-day pet facts:
🐶 Dogs can hear thunder long before we do because their hearing is much more sensitive.
⚡ Some pets react to changes in barometric pressure even before a storm arrives.
🌩️ Thunder, wind, flashing lightning and unfamiliar noises can trigger anxiety.
🏠 Many dogs instinctively look for a small, cozy place or their favorite person when they’re nervous.
❤️ Staying calm, keeping their routine familiar and giving them a comfortable safe space can help.

At TLC, pet care isn’t just feeding and walks. It’s knowing what makes each pet feel safe, comfortable and loved.

🤍Sunday Spotlight🤍
This Sunday, TLC lost a very special girl... This is Belle Luna. The most gentle, welcoming, and loving pup we have been blessed to know. She loved the sunshine, the breeze and to lounge on her favorite couch at home. She loved belly rubs, kisses, her brother Sony, her family and everyone that crossed her path. Belle always had a way of brightening up everyone’s day.
Belle has been reunited with her mommy, and our dear friend, Jena. May you both run free among the stars forever, together. We love you Belle🌈🤍🪽🐾

Today, we remember. 🇺🇸

We honor the lives lost, the heroes who answered the call, and the families forever changed by September 11, 2001.

We also remember the incredible search-and-rescue dogs and their handlers who worked tirelessly in the days that followed — searching, serving, and bringing comfort during an unimaginable time.

Heroes came on two legs and four. 🐾

We will never forget. 🇺🇸
