Employee Spotlight: Colette McCharen, Chief Commercial Officer
For the last three years, Colette has brought unmatched energy, grit, and drive to our organization. A true Texan with a sharp business mind, she knows our industry inside and out and has a natural talent for turning opportunities into results.
As Chief Commercial Officer, Colette leads Sales, Customer Service, and Marketing with a no-nonsense approach. She is direct, honest, and quick-witted, traits both her colleagues and our customers appreciate and respect. Colette isn’t afraid to be feisty when the moment calls for it, and her ability to cut straight to the point keeps everyone focused and moving forward. She shines at seeing the bigger picture, offering insights into customers, competitors, and the marketplace that help the team stay ahead. She actively mentors colleagues, providing guidance on how to present our CDMO capabilities, craft impactful materials, and navigate challenging conversations. Her straightforward style makes her guidance clear, actionable, and effective. Customers know they can count on Colette’s word. She’s known for her honesty and loyalty, and her reputation for delivering on promises is part of why she is so successful at building long-term partnerships.
Of course, Colette’s personality comes with plenty of fun, too. She has a quick sense of humor, a great laugh, and is the type of leader who makes even tough conversations enjoyable. True to her Texan roots, she’s a crack shot with a shotgun, knows how to pick winning teams in golf scrambles, and even lets her dogs “test” our - and sometimes our competitors’ – products for their approval. One casual chat with her even inspired a teammate’s family to forever call American cheese slices “Dog Cheese”.
