Hi, my name is Meg. I am a veterinary technician here at Brakken Veterinary Clinic, and this is my friend Daisy. When Daisy first came to see us, she was very fearful. Barking growling defensively and needed to be muzzled for her exams. She was scared, but we have built trust and today she gave me lots of kisses and tail wags upon greeting. It filled my heart to see this change with her over the past few years. It is truly one of my greatest joys, to change a fearful pet to a relaxed and confident one. We work very hard to use low stress techniques as much as we can with all of our patients. My team is the very best and I'm so proud to be one of them.

Ren wants to remind all of our clients that with the warming temperatures, the ticks will start to come out soon (Meg says she found one on that nice weekend we were spoiled with). We recommend starting up your flea and tick medicine March 1st if you aren't doing it year round. Starting your heartworm preventative isn't a bad idea either!

Feral....pshhhhh... I was brought in from a barn to have my ears looked at and my previous owner thought I was feral... I'm slightly nervous with new things, but I will melt in your arms and fill your ears with purring ❤️. My name is Bougie and I'm a recently spayed, 10 month old female. My ears were a minor thing, I've been dewormed and had my first vaccines. Oh and feline leukemia negative. My next thing is to find a loving home. Will that be yours? Stop on in and say hi!

My name is Meg, I have been a certified veterinary technician here at Brakken Veterinary Clinic for more than 20 years. As many of you know, I do lots of art-including custom pet portraits, and now resin jewelry. I have restocked the clinic supply of new jewelry pieces. Just in time for Valentine's Day! Stop in to see the new inventory. Earrings for $15.00, small pendant necklaces for $25 and large pendants for $35.00. All proceeds go towards my dog Oakley's chemotherapy fund. (He's doing great after treatment!)

Edit: we are so excited to have found Boris a wonderful home!

Meet Boris! He's a 2-3 year old neutered male cat that showed up at Jessica's house as a stray. He is a big cat but has no worries when it comes to other animals. He's settled in at the clinic well but he is looking for his forever home. Maybe for Christmas? Come in and meet him!

Our beloved Fabio crossed over the rainbow bridge the other day, but was spoiled (and loved) heavily at his retirement home with former employee Abby and her husband. ❤️❤️❤️
