🔴General Horsemanship
MBR Performance Horsemanship LLC -Elsabe Hausauer

This clinic will focus on basic, foundational horsemanship and is designed for riders of all levels who want to strengthen their understanding and feel with their horse.
We’ll cover:
-Safe handling and groundwork
-Understanding horse behavior and communication
-Proper positioning and balance
-Building softness, confidence, and trust
-Simple riding exercises to improve control and feel
This is a low-pressure, educational clinic meant to build solid basics and good habits. Perfect for beginners, anyone wanting to go back to the fundamentals and improve their horsemanship from the ground up.

Time: 9am - 4pm
Cost: $350
Limit to 8 riders
Audit fee: $100 (+$15 lunch) Just make sure you let Treva know if she can grab you a lunch also.

The Gold Buckle Dash Barrel Racing Jackpot

PLEASE NOTE: We'll run a pop-up Pole Bending at this first race (details in the entry link or reach out if you have questions).

In addition, we’ll either do goat tying exhibitions or a pop up goat jackpot. If you want in on the goat excitement, please reach out asap 🙌

Here’s a quick look at the counties that now include ND03 - Kidder, Logan, McIntosh, Stutsman, LaMoure, Dickey, Adams, Billings, Bowman, Burleigh, Dunn, Golden Valley, Grant, Hettinger, Mercer, Morton, Oliver, Sioux, Slope, Stark

We’re tentatively scheduled to kick the season off on Tuesday April 28th at Beard Arena in Menoken- Watch for the detailed flyer

In the meantime, drop your logo(s) to be included on the flyers. We’re planning to do a wide range of awards for yearend this season including a ton of buckles and some wicked trophy awards.

When it comes to the yearend awards, my gut says we need a 5d for the Open, a 4d (half half full splits) for the Youth and Teen, and maybe a 1d for the Senior, but this your district, so if you have a strong opinion, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

No I didn’t forget about the peewees… I don’t really know how you pivot away from buckles because it sure seems like everyone loves them, but, if you have a peewee and would like to chime in, we want to hear from you.

There’ll be a separate post for the upcoming races (which will be pinned to the top of the page) and a separate post for the yearend awards criteria.

Lastly, if you know of a fantastic arena, that would make a good host for ND03, I would love to hear from you.
