We had one of our sweetest visits this week. Little miss Poppi, an MHHS alum, brought donations for the animals and the humans who cared for her while she was here! Poppi has incredible handwriting, so we thought we would share her words...she can do it better than we can anyways!

Sweet Poppi is now currently taking obedience class here. These are the types of happy tails we love to hear: loved, adored, happy.

Thank you Poppi for not forgetting us as your new life has expanded. And thank you to your humans for loving you the way we knew you needed.

Our friends at Collar City Painting, LLC heard the call, and hopped into action with a huge donation of pet food to help out those pet food pantry shelves. We say it over and over, but we'll keep saying it until you've heard us. This community is INCREDIBLE!

After an incredible race right down to the wire, four very good boys have earned their spot on Brown's Brewing Company Best Friends Lager! 🍻🐶🐱

128 pets entered. More than 500 people participated. And together, you cast more than 19,000 votes and raised an incredible $24,270 to help care for homeless animals at MHHS! 🐾

Actually, scratch that. Wake Grover up when his forever family arrives. Until then, he’ll be here, busy soaking up the last rays of summer and dreaming of a home...and maybe a nice, new squeaky football. 💚

This handsome boy has a flair for the dramatic, and a keen sense of how to make everyone around him laugh. Just like his Muppet namesake, we also think he would greet a crowd with "hello everybody!" and is endlessly eager-to-please, ready for adventure, and will capture your heart.
