Did you know that more pets go missing on the 4th of July than almost any other time of year? Between fireworks, parties, and open doors, even pets who have never wandered before can become frightened and run away.
A microchip is one of the simplest ways to help bring a lost pet back home, but only if it’s registered with current contact information.
When we place a microchip, we take extra steps to make sure everything is done correctly:
✔️ We scan your pet first to make sure they don’t already have a chip.
✔️ We scan the microchip and needle before placement to verify the chip number.
✔️ We scan your pet again after placement to confirm the chip is working properly.
And one thing that makes our process a little different: We register the microchip FOR you!
It’s an easy step to forget, but an unregistered microchip can’t help reunite your pet with you. By taking care of the registration, we help ensure your pet’s chip is linked to your contact information - easy peasy!
