You may wonder why we're seeking funding for animals in need. The reason is that $120-per-session rehabilitation services are crucial for dogs like Heaven, who's working to regain the ability to walk. Originally a stray from Frayser, Heaven lived with his caretakers at Unity before being abandoned when they relocated. They could not take as the apartment had strick rules. Now, he's waiting for a second chance - a forever family to adopt him. To empower us to continue our mission, please visit Unityforanimal.com and become a monthly supporter or donate via PayPal at [email protected].

Our Little Miracle 💕 Layla has undergone significant challenges following two surgeries and substantial blood loss, resulting in a blood clot. She became paralyzed, with her head tilted back and only able to move her eyes. After conducting numerous tests and an MRI at the Mississippi State College of Veterinary school, no signs of fungus, parasites, or other diseases were detected. The blood loss and clot from the spay procedure on Oct 30, led to her condition. Layla spent one day at AEC in Memphis, where they stated they could not provide further assistance. I then took her to Mississippi State that Friday evening, arriving around 8 PM. She spent two days on oxygen in critical condition. I picked Layla up the following Thursday, November 7, and was provided with a wagon, as she was shaking/tremors unanle to bend her front legs. The medical team informed me that she would require lifelong medication and likely would not regain full motor skills due to brain damage. Additionally, Layla lost vision in her right eye. The cumulative bill from Memphis emergency and Mississippi State totaled $9,500. We have received $1,050 in donations. Thank you 🙏
We continue to take Layla to therapy twice a week to regain mobility. Currently, she can bend her legs and use the bathroom and has a healthy appetite. As a small non-profit organization, our emergency funds have been depleted to save Layla. We kindly request donations to continue supporting her and other dogs and cats in need. We are located in Memphis, Tennessee.
