Every service dog starts with potential.

For Breeze, that potential was discovered at Karma’s Haven Rescue.

Today, we're proud to welcome her to the Tier One Service Dog Foundation family, where she'll begin a 1-2 year journey to become a psychiatric service dog for a disabled combat veteran living with the invisible wounds of military service.

Our partnership with local rescues is about more than giving deserving dogs a second chance. It's about creating life-changing partnerships that restore confidence, independence, and hope for the veterans who need them most.

Breeze's journey is only possible because of supporters like you! Your donation helps provide the food, veterinary care, equipment, and expert training she'll need before she's ready to meet the veteran whose life she'll one day change.

When Canyon first came to K9s Place, even a simple walk could be stressful.

His owner shared that Canyon was highly reactive to other dogs and that they often had to avoid places where they might run into them. The goal wasn't anything extravagant, it was simply to be able to enjoy walks, outings, and everyday life together without fear.

Today, Canyon is joining Pack Walks and exploring the world with a whole new level of confidence.

Seeing dogs like Canyon make progress is rewarding, but seeing the freedom and confidence it gives their owners is what makes it all worth it.
