🌟 JJ’s Journey: From Abandoned to Adored. 🌟

JJ was found on the side of the highway after being hit by a car. No county funds for his care. Left behind.

But he’s not alone.
Half of local families can’t afford basic vet visits—leading to unneutered pets, more litters, more strays, and overflowing shelters.

That’s why we opened the FOTAS Community Spay & Neuter Clinic.

This nonprofit clinic in Medford provides affordable, high-quality spay and neuter services—reducing unplanned litters before they ever reach a shelter.

Gianna attends the TRAILS Outdoor School in Ashland. TRAILS promotes volunteerism among its students, which motivated Gianna to “adopt” FOTAS to devote her volunteer hours at the monthly Vaccination & Microchip Drive-thru.

In addition, the eighth graders at TRAILS are required to select a “capstone project”, a school year-long effort which somehow benefits the community. Gianna chose to leverage her crafting skills to make crochet creatures which she has been selling at a boba tea shop in Ashland (“Matcha”). Ginger Blackwell, the owner/operator of Matcha agreed to serve as Gianna’s mentor and not only provided space in her store for the crochet work to be shown but had her crew collect payments from customers.

Gianna’s school year is coming to a close, so she donted 100% of the proceeds from those sales to the FOTAS Community Spay & Neuter Clinic to help with off-setting the cost of spay/neuter for our low-income neighbors who want to do the right thing, and get their beloved pets fixed.
