In 1954, Macy's Herald Square in New York City employed Doberman Pinschers as night watchdogs, a practice starting in 1952. Initiated with six highly trained dogs from former Army K-9 Corps trainer John Behan, they patrolled silently, deterring theft with their disciplined presence.

These Dobermans, groomed for stealth with clipped nails, worked in teams to secure the vast store. Their reputation as formidable guardians spread, reducing break-ins. The program, documented in a 1954 LOOK magazine article, continued until at least 1998, showcasing Macy's innovative security approach.

Warning: DANGEROUS Game😭
Testimony from a person: Yesterday it was very hot, and like you, we played with the sprinkler hose.

My bitch loved it she played, jumped and hydrated herself.
And yet... This afternoon she died in my arms 😢

I wake up in the night, a moan, I go to see her, she was lying with a bloated belly, she no longer moves, she tried to vomit, did not touch her pot...

I'm calling the emergency vet who, according to the description, tells me to come quickly, I'm 10 minutes away. The longest 10 minutes of my life, I wear it, it doesn't work, I call the clinic, they were waiting for me, they open it and there, I feel her last breath in my arms... she's gone.. I'm crying... I don't understand ....
She was fine, she was so lively the day before... A heat stroke? Are you intoxication? I wonder !

The vet is offering an autopsy I need to know...
Verdict 😢 she passed away from a stomach upset! It was full of water 😢 and then in my head I realize I killed her.. Yes. I'm falling apart.. 😓😓

Watch out for the watering hose game, the dog swallows a lot of water and at the same time, jumps everywhere...
