We are committed to the Great Dane Breed as a Rescue, Rehomer and Breeder The Danes, didn't look like Danes anymore.

We fell in love with the Great Dane breed many moons ago and when it came time where we wanted to add a second Dane to our lives we were caught off guard by what we saw out there. After speaking with many breeders we were able to see that due to ill breeding the Great Dane breed was suffering, so over the next 10+ years we had made it our mission to learn as much as we could about the breed and it

s lineage, found great breeders who became our mentors and, slowly but surly found a way to make sure that the Great Dane breed comes back strong and for the long haul. We are committed to the health and longevity of the breed and hope that we can make you a lover of the breed as well. Keep an eye our for puppy, class and show announcements. In conclusion, this study shows that the risk of cranial cruciate ligament disease in dogs is linked to how long they are exposed to natural s*x hormones, and the relationship isn’t simple or linear. The highest risk was seen when females were spayed before about 1054 days (just under 3 years) and males before about 805 days (a little over 2 years). These results may help define what counts as “early” spay or neuter when it comes to cranial cruciate ligament disease risk.

Veterinary reproduction specialists now recommend hormone-preserving sterilization: preventing unwanted litters & less risk of torn cruciates.

Hash Brown, now Moose and his brother Baked Potato, now Scooby, mark the last of our 2025 litter. I am so proud and happy for these two boys who we will comfort companions for two disabled veterans. A little sad to see them go. The house doesn’t have the same thudding pitter patter anymore.
