On March 22, our rescue organization opened its doors to adopt a severely neglected and malnourished goat named Tinkerbell. She was discovered by Animal Control, lying in a pile of manure, unable to walk, and on the brink of starvation. We are deeply committed to this little capra and are providing comprehensive care to facilitate her recovery. Due to her neglect, Tinkerbell suffers from severe negative joint development, resulting in difficulty walking, although she makes every effort to do so. The constant walking on her knees causes her hooves to grow at an alarming rate, necessitating daily trimming. Tinkerbell has received extensive care, including vitamin and mineral supplements, and treatment for lice infestation. We are seeking donations to cover the costs of her ongoing veterinary appointments, aimed at addressing her developmental issues, as well as her daily hoof care and nutritional supplements. Please consider supporting our efforts to help Tinkerbell. Our goal is for her to walk, run and play like a normal baby goat. See photo at bottom for what a normal hoof should look like :(
