We Blame the Puppies...A little behind? Yes. Worth celebrating anyway? Absolutely! Before we turn the page on May, we want to recognize the team members who celebrated birthdays and work anniversaries last month. Thank you for everything you do for our patients, clients, and team each day!

☀️ Warm weather is here! AHOM pup, Wrigley is here to remind you to keep your pets safe in the heat!

• Always provide plenty of fresh water.
• Avoid walks on hot pavement (if it’s too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for paws!)
• Limit outdoor activity during the hottest parts of the day.
• Never leave pets in a parked car...even for a minute.
• Watch for signs of overheating like excessive panting, drooling, or lethargy.

Stay cool and enjoy the sunshine safely!

We know this time of year gets busy fast for families. 🐾

That’s why we wanted to share that we unexpectedly have a few evening appointments available tomorrow! If you’ve been trying to find a time that works after school, sports, or work, this is a great chance to get your pet seen without rearranging your whole day.

Just a gentle reminder: parvovirus tends to show up more this time of year, and it can spread easier than people realize. Puppies and unvaccinated dogs are especially vulnerable.

A little extra caution (and staying on schedule with vaccines) goes a long way in keeping them safe.

The face you make when you realize your brother is also at the vet! These two littermates were adopted from two separate families, and just happened to be at AHOM at the same time. Of course, the lobby immediately turned into a play pen for a bit. We enjoyed watching this cute reunion!
