Congratulations to Mara Parker and her family for their recent purchase of Congress Hall (aka Hallie)! 🤩 This gorgeous mare is settling in so well and has already proven herself to be very respectful, thoughtful, and smart. While this pair can go in any direction they choose, I have an inkling we might see them shining in eventing. No matter what, we are so excited for Mara and Hallie and cannot wait to see them grow together! Congrats to the Parker family! 🐴💙

We are so proud of our very own Logan Briggs and Gen Phantom Warrior (aka Tango) for competing at the Carolina Paint Horse Club (CPHC) show earlier this month, earning some incredible ribbons! If you know Logan, you know she has worked so hard with Tango and we love to celebrate their continued accomplishments! 🐴💙

Ride in memory of Ellen Tobin, an incredibly special instructor and rider who helped make Woodlawn Stables into the beautiful barn and community it continues to be! Proceeds from this show go toward supporting dreams of horseback riding for special community members. The previous two years proceeds have gone towards supporting riders at the NC Therapeutic Riding Center - NCTRC! Come support a great cause and celebrate the spirit and love of horsemanship.

Horseback riding is a special sport for so many reasons, one of which is the undeniable physical and emotional connection that forms between riders and horses. Sadly, that deep relationship makes saying goodbye so much harder.

We recently had to say goodbye to a truly special soul—Gentleman Jack aka Jack. Jack wasn’t just a horse—he was a partner, a confidant, a teacher, a constant source of strength and joy, and so much more. Between his goofy personality and his incredible talent, the way Jack cared for so many riders made an impact on everyone at Woodlawn Stables! While our hearts are still hurting, we also feel so lucky to know this special boy.

From first lessons to last hugs, Jack gave everything he had to his people and his legacy will live on in the confidence he helped build, the laughs he inspired, and the hearts he touched. Run free and eat all the fresh green grass you can up in Heaven, sweet Jack. You will always be part of Woodlawn Stables! 🐴💙🪽

We had such a blast during our first week of summer camp 2025! What a great group of campers, all coming each day ready to advance their riding skills and learn more about all things horses! This week, the campers had an opportunity to learn more about the different disciplines of horseback riding!

Thank you to everyone who has reached out to us after Tropical Storm Chantal came through Mebane last night! We have some trees down and property damage from flooding, but all horses and humans are okay and that is the most important part! We will be thinking of our neighbors who experienced more damage, and please know we are always here to help how we can! 🐴💙

Our first day of camp 1 will proceed as normal, and we cannot wait for the week of fun ahead of us!
