Spay/neuter spots are open tomorrow, Thursday, and next Tuesday/Thursday in McRae-Helena.

If you have transport and spay/neuter funds, now is a good time to get your pet scheduled.

When you make your appointment there is a $25 deposit for each cat $50 for each dog. THESE ARE NONREFUNDABLE DEPOSITS! You will not be confirmed until you go to our website.

www.therescueranch.org/donate you will find a donation button to pay your deposit. THE NEXT STEP IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT. THERE IS A MEMO LINE THAT YOU MUST PUT YOUR NAME AND PHONE NUMBER IN SO THAT WE KNOW WHO TO APPLY THE DEPOSIT TO.

* Feral cats are accepted in traps for surgery. No overnights, they must return home with you. Some flexibility if less or more cats are trapped than expected

Starting prices
Puppies: $60+
Male dogs over 6 months: $75+
Female dogs over 6 months: $125+
Sponsored ear-tip cats: male $35+, female $60+
Full-price cats (no ear tip): $100+
Rabies vaccine: $15–$25

Additional charges may apply for larger pets or pets in heat, pregnant, cryptorchid, or needing treatment.

‼️ATTENTION ‼️

Effective May 1 TODAY, we sadly have to introduce a nonrefundable deposit to every person who makes a spay and neuter appointment.

WHY? Because we are averaging 50% no-show rates from people who do not have the courtesy to contact us and cancel their appointments allowing one of the 444 people on waitlist to take their place.

We are still a business that has to pay electric, phones, supplies, and payrolls. It is not fair to anyone who works to schedule to work a spay day where we book 20–30 animals and only 10 people show up!

We know that the economy has become very tough and the cost of gas way too much… However, to no-show for such an important appointment with no explanation or prior warning is unacceptable.

We’re excited to announce our next Bless Their Parts clinic, focused on cats only, especially those who live outdoors or are community cats. We currently have 25 spots available!
📅 Date: April 27th
📍 Drop-off: City of Nashville Animal Shelter, 8:00–8:30 AM
⏰ Pick-up: Estimated 4:00–5:00 PM
(Timing may adjust depending on how surgery goes, we’ll keep you posted!)
Price: $85 regardless of gender -Price raised until grants/donations can be secured.
🐾 What’s Included:
✔️ Spay or neuter
✔️ Mandatory ear tip (TNR cats only)
✔️ Rabies vaccine
✔️ FVRCP vaccine — generously provided thanks to Petco Love
➕ Microchip available upon request for $20
⚠️ Important Requirements:
Cats MUST arrive in a trap (preferred) or a hard-sided carrier
Traps/carriers must be in good condition
Cats only, no dogs for this clinic.

💳 Payment Policy (Very Important):
To keep things fair and avoid no-shows, payment must be completed within 24 hours of applying.
Unpaid applications will be removed after 24 hours so spots can be offered to others.
👉 No payment = no reserved spot. Upon applying, you will receive a confirmation email with the payment link.
This helps us keep clinics full, efficient, and affordable for everyone.
