Spending a little time on the loom between household chores- this one is for my horse Memo, the mustang. It's been a work in progress for a while. I am actually making this one a bit bigger than what she is currently in because I fugured there was some growing in her future- she is only 3, and has grown about a 1/2 at the withers since I started this one. She is currently in a 24", so this is a 26". It sure is nice to be able to have pretty tack in various sizes, or a new cinch to match a new saddle pad 😅

Maybe this one will be done this weekend? One last section of detail work on the center bars and then the dreaded ends to weave in!

Do you like matchy matchy things with your horse? Colors? Neutrals? Yeah, I do like matchy matchy stuff and bold colors! I can do neutrals, too, by the way, so dont let my love of colors deter you from inquiring!

Tire rotation day at Les Schwab. If I do enough mohair here, think they would sponsor me?!? Lol. Pretty mohair, good dog,go company, and snacks. There are worse things.

Not normally doing mohair mid afternoon on a nice spring day, but I got a tack or some sort of hardware inthe tire of my car, so I am making the best of it and bringing my craft with me to the local Les Schwab. I also brought my dog.

She approves of their popcorn. And their air conditioning.

Yes, I get weird looks when I do this, but sometimes it happens!

What is new around here? Well- I am.working on a dressage girth for a fellow endurance rider, and ordered a new loom so that I can do full length English girths.

I am als finalizing details to partner with Spotted M Tack to showcase my work- and bring it to more people!

Additionally, in non- mohair news, I am.starting to ride my mustang filly, though very infrequently.

As always, I keep trying to organize my mohair better, and it just seems to get worse, and also increases frequently 🤣🤣. But it sure is fun to go through!

Plus we are getting a bit closer to offering ropers!! More to come on that later

This year Teens & Oregon Mustangs are partnering with the IMHA to put on the MESA -Mustang Expo Show & Auction! This show will be open to all mustangs and there will be a horse sale on Sunday for titled mustangs.
