I am trying to finish up some of my started projects before starting new ones.

Thankfully I have multiple looms, and since it is a bit rainy today, a good day to be making cinches

If you are considering a custom cinch for friends or family (or heck, even for yourself!) for Christmas, or those sneaky December birthdays that are easy to forget in the holiday rush, I will likely be closing orders at the end of October, earlier if I need to order mohair or hardware. For custom orders, I do require a 50% non-refundable deposit once a design is decided.

What does a pile of mohair ends mean? Means someone is working on a project! In this case, I am the someone working on a project, working on reducing my number of works in progress, and working on building another pretty amd functional cinch!

I really want to start new mohair projects

There are so many works in progress that need finishing. In fact, a whole rack of them 🤪🫣🫢

Also- I have another loom enroute here, so I guess I will need to have lots of projects going. Maybe a mixture of new ones and ones waiting to be finished.

I am getting this lovely one wrapped up. This one helped me use up some smallish pieces of 8 ply, which also feels like I am.cleaning out my craft space, so a little extra credit of accomplishment!

What kind of colors do you want to see? Any specific designs? I want to build a piece for my mustang with her brand incorporated, and maybe even her name since it is short!

Memo is trying one on of my halters that I have dolled up woth some mohair. This little mustang sure is spoiled with her pretty gear

When you have pretty horses, and they have pretty Jen X Equine saddle pads, you make pretty cinches to match. Both saddle pads are used, both cinches very lightly used. And they all look so, so good!

We have a barn full of hay which is great, but I am a bit sore from stacking, so going easy by working at the loom for a little bit. I also finished a cinch yesterday, which often motivates me to work on another- so here we are!

Ends are woven in and cut off- next stop: the barn to put my fresh cinch on my horse! This is the first time my mustang Memo has gotten her own *NEW* mohair.
