Is there anyone with a drone that could help look for Onyx, if so please let Happy Tails Pet Salon know or the owner.

UPDATE: We are happy to share that ONYX has been caught and is now relaxing at home with his family!!!! Thank You to everyone that helped us getting him; from giving information on sightings to walking around looking for him. A very big thank you to the property owners on Oak Hill that let us put live traps on their property and watched for Onyx daily. McMechen Residents: We are asking for your help in locating a boxer named "Onyx". He slipped away from his Owners a few days ago and was spotted in McMechen down by the Riverpark area. We do have live traps out to hopefully catch him and return him to his family. If you see him or if you see one of our traps please do not approach due to him being scared/skittish. Below is a picture of Onyx and at the time of him getting away from his family he was wearing the blue collar with white stars. If he is in a trap that you come across please call the Marshall County Sheriff Department and they will dispatch us to get him. Please help us and his family get Onyx home. Thank You.

For those who are new to our Happy Tails Paw It Forward page—and we're happy to say we've had quite a few new followers recently—you may not know about one of our favorite traditions: Volunteer Day.
Terri's mother passed away in December of 2011. To honor her memory, each year we dedicate a day on or near her birthday to giving back. On Volunteer Day, Happy Tails Pet Salon closes for the day so we can spend our time helping organizations, community groups, or individuals who could use an extra hand.
We also encourage others to join us in volunteering or to find a cause of their own and donate a little time. Even a few hours can make a meaningful difference in someone's life.
This year, we will be volunteering with the City of McMechen, West Virginia., helping with their Family Fun Day. Because of this, Happy Tails Pet Salon will be closed on Friday, June 19.
We hope you'll find a place in your heart—and your schedule—to volunteer as well. If you do, we'd love to hear about your experience. Together, we'll do some good.

We had a special visitor come in for a spa treatment today. K9 Kimber from the Wellsburg Police Department .
We are so glad to finally meet her and honored to have her print on the K9 Wall of Honor.

I know this is early, but we are so excited, so let's say it's a Save-the-Date cause we can't wait to tell you about it post.
Applebee's in St. Clairsville is giving us an amazing and most generous opportunity to raise much needed funds.
On July 21st they are not only giving us a gracious 25% of any food orders, phone in orders as well, they are doing this ALL DAY. 11am-11pm, really all day, just go in, sit yourself down, mention Happy Tails Paw It Forward, let someone else wait on you for a change and presto-bingo, 25% of your order will go to support us.
Honest it doesn't get easier or better than that.
Again we know it's early but mark your calendars, put this in your phone and don't worry, we'll keep reminding you.

I came across a neat find on the You Know You're From McMechen If... page. These are old pictures of the Bank of McMechen. Which became the home of Happy Tails Pet Salon in 2006 and is where our Happy Tails Paw It Forward now resides.
I believe the person who posted these used AI to clean up the photos and it took some liberties with the signs.
Parts of the building were many different things throughout the years I'm told, but the drive thru was the drive thru until it became Happy Tails home. When we pulled up the carpet you could still see the intricate patterns of the tile that was the original floor. The bullet proof drive thru window now holds the Pet Salon's logo and is Terri's window to the world while she is grooming.
We can still see evidence of the old building on the outside and inside. As a matter of fact, the big windows you see on the side of the bank before the drive thru was added are still there, sandwiched between the buildings. Instead of removing the windows they just broke holes in the glass to run wiring from the main building down to the drive thru building. The large safe in the main bank building is still there. It's hard to believe that what was once a computer room in a bank, now is furnished with a raised tub for bathing dogs.
The building may be historic and scarred but we can't imagine calling any other place home.
Thank you McMechen United Methodist Church for believing in us and giving us a chance oh so long ago, and to the City of McMechen, for giving us a place to plant our roots and grow.
