We had to pry Deb Spaulding away from cleaning the kitten nursery just to snap this adorable photo with Pisces (available for adoption)! Deb is a longtime supporter of our Cat Center and a driving force behind our annual Party for the Paws fundraiser. Her kindness, generosity, and dedication to rescue animals make a huge difference every day. Thank you, Deb, for all that you do!

Duster hopes that his new family is coming to visit tomorrow from 11-2 for our Rummage for Rescue: Yard Sale & Open House !!

This 10-month-old, Husky mix has been waiting his entire life to find a family of his own. Duster is kind and gentle but also very playful! He will do best in an active home willing to provide him with the patience and guidance that every young dog deserves. There's really no reason why our sweet senior, Khloe Rose, hasn't been adopted yet. She's petite and lovable. Khloe has experience living with dogs, cats, and children. We think she'd prefer a quiet home due to her age, but she hasn't given us any reason to think she couldn't keep up if given the chance.

Khloe is a 10-year-old, Chihuahua mix who weighs under 20 lbs. Recently, we were able to run a complete profile of her bloodwork and were delighted to find Khloe to be in great health for her seasoned age. This Basset Hound/Bulldog mix is absolutely adorable, and we're so grateful he's happy and healthy. Still, we can’t help but wish he hadn’t spent the first year of his life just waiting for a place to truly belong. At our rescue we see the effects of irresponsible breeding. Often times, homeless animals such as Bando are left waiting for months (sometimes years) to be adopted.

Please consider adopting a dog like Bando. He is willing to learn and just needs a family to provide him with proper guidance. In the meantime, he is getting spoiled at our adoption center and learning how to socialize amongst his peers. We anticipate that he will be a larger dog about 60 lbs. fully grown.
