The clinic will be closed tomorrow, September 26th for the doctors and staff to attend the Southwest Veterinary Symposium in Fort Worth, Tx. We look forward to expanding our knowledge so that we may better help serve our clients and their pets. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, and we will return to the office on Monday, Sept. 29th.

🎉 HOORAY!!!! 🎉 Dr. Ichord is starting his second year here as our associate veterinarian. He is a 2024 graduate of Oklahoma State College of Veterinary Medicine. Originally from McAlester, Ok he is the son of Mark Ichord who was the principal and superintendent of Hartshorne Public Schools for 35 years. Dr. Ichord’s hobbies include working on the family farm along with hunting and fishing. His main focus is small animal medicine and surgery although he also has an interest in cattle, goats, sheep, and pigs. We are excited to have him continue to work with us, and we encourage clients to stop by and say hi! 👋

This week we have been celebrating 20 incredible years with the heart of our clinic-- our amazing office manager/do everything AKA "Natalie the Great". She truly does it ALL, and we are so lucky to have her. Here's to two decades of dedication, hard work, and keeping us all together. She also works so hard to keep your pets healthy and happy. Please help us congratulate her on 20 years here at Town & Country Veterinary Clinic! 🥳

With the 4th of July quickly approaching, we want to remind everyone that the big, loud booms can be scary for our furry friends! If your pet suffers from firework or storm anxiety, there are ways we can help! Schedule an appointment or reach out to us for guidance or medications needed to help get your kiddo(s) get through the eventful night! It is better to reach out sooner rather than later, as there are lots of pets that need help on this day.
