(We offer LIMITED emergency services for clients whose pets we have seen in the office within the last calendar year, and whose accounts in good standing.)

Neither doctor will be in the office this afternoon (Friday), but we will still be open until 5pm today for boarding and non- prescription medication refills.

Do you like Blue and Gold? Dr. Crownover's kids' homeschool co-op group is selling B & G sausage, bacon, and bread chicken. Proceeds stay in the group, and all products are made in Oklahoma!

The sale is SHORT -- it ends March 27th (with delivery around April 10th). If interested, you can text 918.558.7074 to order. (Listed prices are per single package/roll.)

(And they also still have Girl Scout Cookies available, which end March 24th. 😉 .)

It's Dr. Crownover's favorite time of year!! 🤩 (We mean that sarcastically... .)

His daughters have Girl Scout cookies! They'll be doing a booth in a few weeks at the clinic, but they can delivery cookies any time right now.

They and their troop friends are working towards a troop trip to Six Flags Hurricane Harbor and Frontier City in OKC, and Girl Scout camp this summer!

KIAMICHI VETERINARY CLINIC is hiring for the position of VETERINARY ASSISTANT/FRONT OFFICE. Job would be Monday to Friday from 8am - 5pm, with every other weekend in addition (hours will vary).

Applicants MUST:

* be able to lift 50 lbs. solo and not be afraid of animals,

* be able to pass a drug test,

* be responsible, reliable, and be able to take direction well,

* have good people skills (with both clients and co-workers),

* be punctual, have reliable transpiration, and not need to be micromanaged,

* not have been at-fault fired from previous employers,

* be at least 18 years old to apply.

Previous animal or veterinary experience preferred. Newly hired applicant will be on a 2 month trial basis. Compensation commensurate with previous professional experience working with animals. As of right now, we're going to try to be open for normal Saturday hours (8am - 12pm).

FOR FRIDAY, 1/10/25:

We will be open from only about an hour today around 9/9:30am due to the roads. (Dr. Crownover is only going in to check on the few animals that are currently in-house.)

We'll keep you posted about Saturday!

Is that time of year!

Like you, we're watching for the potential a winter storm this week. Please check our FB and Google pages for updates about early closures/complete closures for the clinic. And please also remember that:

* if we close early/are closed entirely, it's because we have the safety of our clients and our staff in mind, some of whom live further out from town and whose roads are especially dangerous in inclement weather;

* even when we are closed, a member of our staff still goes to the clinic to check on any animals that may be in - house;

* we do not offer emergency services when we need to close early / are closed entirely;

* if we are not closed and you have an appointment, but the roads are still questionable, please use caution or just call to reschedule.

KVC TURNS 50 THIS YEAR!!

We're so proud of this milestone, and of the 5 decades of service our clinic has been fortunate to provide to our community.
