Since our formation in 1955, Mayfield Pet Hospital has served the needs of tens of thousands of dogs and cats and their owners. In 2011, senior veterinarian and owner Dr. James Ringer retired and the practice was taken over by Dan Winger who has worked at Mayfield Pet Hospital for 26 years. As Dan says, “A lot of veterinarian practices can seem cold and can leave people with the feeling that the

y’re all about the money. At Mayfield Pet Hospital we know our clients well. They’re like family to us. We love dealing with our clients and taking care of their animals. There’s nothing more satisfying than a dog or cat coming in sick and going home licking your face.” Senior Veterinarian Dr. Nancy Hankins agrees: “We have a family feel here. We don’t want someone to feel like they’re in a hospital.” Dr. Jacyln Olson adds: “I love the client interaction and taking care of the animals. We treat them like our own.”

Mayfield Pet Hospital offers a full range of veterinarian services including:

Wellness care for cats and dogs

General Surgery, such as spay, neuter, declawing, and growth removal

Happy St Patrick’s Day! ☘️

We wish it was more happy for Clover. Clover came to us last week and went to a foster to adopt home this weekend. Today she started not feeling herself today and off to the vet she went. Unfortunately she tested positive for parvo, despite having her initial vaccines. She’s currently being cared for at the ER. Please keep this little sweetie pie in your thoughts.
Parvo is scary and is expensive to treat. We will do everything to make sure she’s okay and comfortable. If you want to donate to Clover’s care, you can Venmo us or donate on the link below.
