Monkee and Milo are here with an important announcement: it’s officially Cat Month — which means you BETTER be showering your feline overlords with extra treats, new toys, and all the royal attention they demand. 😼😼
But don’t stop there! Cat Month is also the perfect time to make sure your kitties are up to date on their wellness exams, parasite prevention, and dental care. A healthy cat is a happy cat (and a less dramatic one).💉🐜
So go on… refresh that toy basket, add a few too many treats, schedule that check-up, and let your cats continue running the household like the tiny, fluffy CEOs they are.🐈🐾

🦃 Thanksgiving Dos & Don’ts for Pets 🐾

✅ Dos:

Keep your pets on their regular diet: Treats in moderation are fine, but stick to pet-safe foods.

Create a safe space: With extra guests and activity, make sure your pets have a quiet spot to relax.

Watch for toxic foods: Grapes, raisins, onions, garlic, chocolate, and alcohol are dangerous.

Supervise during meals: Curious noses may try to sneak bites from the table!

Keep ID tags & microchips up to date: Extra activity and visitors can make escapes more likely.

❌ Don’ts:

Don’t feed cooked bones: They can splinter and cause choking or intestinal damage.

Don’t leave pets alone with leftovers: Many “human foods” can make pets very sick.

Don’t ignore stress signals: Some pets get anxious with gatherings — watch for hiding, trembling, or excessive barking.

Don’t forget exercise: Walks and playtime help pets stay calm and burn off holiday stress.

Tip: Make a small, safe plate of pet-friendly Thanksgiving treats so they can join in the fun without risk.

🌟 Happy Veterinary Practice Manager Week! 🌟

This week, we celebrate every Veterinary Practice Manager who keeps clinics running, teams supported, clients educated, and pets receiving the compassionate care they deserve.

From organizing schedules and solving problems, to navigating tough conversations and keeping morale strong — Practice Managers are the steady heartbeat of veterinary medicine. 💚🐾

Thank you for your leadership, your resilience, your empathy, and all the behind-the-scenes work that keeps your hospitals thriving. Your impact reaches far beyond what most people see, and the veterinary world is better because of you.

♻️ Happy Use Less Stuff Day! ♻️
Today’s a great reminder that small choices can make a big difference — for our homes, our pets, and the planet!

Here are a few easy ways to celebrate:
🌱 Choose reusable bags, bottles, or containers
🐾 Repurpose old towels or blankets as pet bedding
🧴 Opt for refillable or eco-friendly cleaning products
🧸 Donate gently used pet toys instead of tossing them
🚮 And of course… reduce, reuse, recycle whenever you can!

Let’s work together to keep our clinic — and our world — cleaner, greener, and kinder. 💚🐶🐱
