Classes December 27/28

Classes offered on which day/days will depend on the demand. Senior is usually in the morning followed by Open/Novice and end with Intro Seminars. You MUST email me, [email protected], with your dog’s NAME and BREED, which day/time is best and the CLASS you are wanting. They are in Inver Grove Heights and $30/dog. I try to do 4 dogs/class hour and up to 10 dogs for Intro Seminars if we can be outside, not winter, for the introduction part otherwise it’s 5 maybe 6 dogs. I will make the schedule up the Monday before and send out confirmation emails followed with a PayPal invoice. Once the schedule is set it is hard to add dogs except for the Intro Seminars. The shed is not temperature controlled and at a private residence. I do have a couple small space heaters to help take the chill off. Dogs can wear coats when in the ring for classes. Dogs hunt better in cold weather than warm. There is NO public bathroom. Details will be sent out once I receive payment. Once you sign up and pay, there are no refunds unless I can replace your run.y

I still have room for classes on Sunday 21st. I am opening it up to Open, Novice and Intro Seminar dogs that are wanting to enter or have entered the January trial. I only have so much room left being one day. I will do the schedule as soon as it is filled and send out confirmation emails and PayPal invoices asap. $30/dog in Inver Grove Heights. Email name, breed of dog and what class you are needing. More details about the site is on a previous post.

Last call for the Novice and Intro Seminar dogs that were scheduled to come this weekend’s cancelled classes to sign up first for Sunday 21st before I open it up tomorrow night to others.

Registrations increase to $34 per dog on January 1. If you are registering a puppy and are unsure of their adult height, put in their current height or a close guesstimate, but if you do that you MUST go back later and make sure that height is correct. If you are not sure you are going to keep the name that's okay too, just note that I get an email alert for every name change and may question you. Transferring numbers to a different dog is not allowed (you can't think, "Oh, I'll register Rin now then if he decides he doesn't like it I'll just transfer to Stimpy." Doesn't work that way. :)

Ok, with cancelling classes with so many Intro Seminar and Novice dogs signed up and missing out opportunities to be in the ring before the January trial, I’m going to offer those that were signed up in those classes to come Sunday December 21st. It looks like 20’s that day. If it doesn’t fill with those teams, I will open it up to others. So THOSE TEAMS ONLY, please email me on the same email thread you originally sign up this weekend for. That way I will already have your dog’s info. Add any info needed for scheduling you properly for the new day. Please, no one else email me about classes so I can keep things in order. I think this is the most fair way to approach this.

Ok, I don’t think there will be a sudden warm up happening for Saturday or Sunday. I’m going to cancel classes which is rare for me to do. These were two long days, 11 hours each, that my rats would be exposed to and I need to think about those guys first and foremost. With ZERO being a high means it would be much colder in the morning and early evening even with the two heaters being in them.

UPDATE: Classes CANCELLED

I’m going to be sending out confirmations and invoices today. I looked at the weather and the HIGH is going to be ZERO Saturday and Sunday. It was a high of 20’s a couple weeks ago. I’m inclined to cancel. Thoughts?

With so many requests for classes next weekend I thought I’d better see how the schedule will come out. Well, it is FULL!! If anyone needs to cancel, please let me know ASAP so I can adjust the schedule. 70 dogs total with 17 being brand new!! Wow!! Dress warm and be ready to have some fun!

The January trial opened today!! Brenda, my secretary, will be unable to send entry confirmations from Tuesday til just before Christmas. Thank you to all that came for classes this past weekend. With set up issues, mice, and dogs needing a little extra attention after an extended perid of time off, I ran a little late. Those that know me know I want to get the best out of your pup each time you come. It’s a give and take kind of thing. You know that if it’s your pup that is needing it that day, they will get it. Those that are on fire, help make up the time. It all balances out in the end. It was great seeing you all again and those that were new, welcome the your new addiction!! You all did great and ALL TUNNELED!!
