Barn Hunt Blast

Brenda and I finally found a date that works for both of us for the annual fun day…. HALLOWEEN!!!! Yep, it will be a spooky affair. 💀👻🎃 Gift certificates will be given out for best DOG costume and TEAM/PERSON. Like previous years we will be doing a potluck lunch around 12:00 and a free Intro seminar starting at 9:00. I will post details in a couple of weeks. Put it on your calendars!!

Thank you to all that came for the Chippewa Falls trials. It was unexpected to fill. That just shows the support and interest that people have in this great sport. Doing remote trials has its challenges. This year was finding straw last minute and when great minds start a mission, bam… some was found not too far away! The trials went long, too long. Thank you to all that helped out and had patience to stick it out to get their runs. We will be changing things up if we do it again next year to help with that. To do remote events, it takes a lot of help from my committee and people willing to volunteer. It got scarce at times, but people stepped up and helped out and that is what makes us able to put these on. THANK YOU!! Sue Kendall, you went above and beyond your contract helping out. Thank you for agreeing to come again with great courses and attitude. This goes for those that helped set up and pack up. It all fit with 30 more bales. Thank you Jeff!! Barb Swanson and I vacuumed til 11:30 that night and I got home at 2:30 am. This trial may be smaller with only two ring, but it has its own challenges. Hope to see you at the September trials in Hutchinson, Mn.

For those of you that have entered barn hunt only, we have parking available for you on the north side of the building, closest to the main entrance. We will have someone there to park you. See you soon.

We will be using secreterrier again for the September trials along with mail in.

We will be setting up 9:00 Friday morning if anyone is available. Any help is greatly appreciated and REWARDED!! If we get done in time before the Intro Seminar, we can do practice runs on a novice course for those that helped. ❤️❤️

The welcome letter and final confirmation emails have been sent. PLEASE READ THEM BOTH!! The confirmation email to make sure your entries are correct and the welcome letter for details about the trials. Both rings are full Saturday with waitlists and master/crazy8 full Sunday. Wow!!! Very Exciting!!

The entries keep coming in for Chippewa Falls. The master/crazy8 ring is full with a waitlist Saturday and is a few points away from being full Sunday. The lower level ring is almost full Saturday and has more runs available Sunday. Day of show may not be available, so get those entries in sooner than later if you are wanting to enter. UPDATE: Master/Crazy8 ring is FULL both days.

Just wanting to give a heads up that the Chippewa Falls trials closes Wednesday. This means that if you need to pull any runs you may do so and receive a full refund, minus any credit card fees, if done by then. It also means that you can still enter with the lower cost per run if she receives an online entry that day or before or if postmarked Wednesday or before. You can still enter late and DOS, if not full, but the price per run increases. In case your plans change and want to enter last minute, we would love to see you and your pup! So don’t delay and get those entries sent!!! Can’t wait to see you all!!
