Happy appreciation day to my fellow groomers.💛

Being a pet groomer is so much more than giving a haircut — it’s patience, compassion, and understanding. It’s knowing how to comfort a nervous pup, earn the trust of a senior dog, and make every pet feel loved and safe.

Groomers spend their days lifting heavy dogs, handling every coat type imaginable, and making sure each pet not only looks their best, but feels their best too. 💕

To every hardworking groomer out there — thank you for your dedication, skill, and heart. You keep pets healthy, happy, and beautiful one groom at a time.

As the holiday season draws near, we're reminding our fabulous clients at Pawsitive Grooming that our number one goal is to keep those furry friends squeaky clean and stylishly coiffed. To make this magic happen, we need your cooperation in getting pets to us on time for their spaw days and kindly ask that you're considerate of rescheduling, since alternative dates might be as elusive as a snowflake in July. We're super grateful for your business and loyalty, and can't wait to get this festive paw-ty started.

Just like humans, dogs are the same when it comes to "not all things are visible." I can promise that if you're consistent with your dog's grooming needs, your groomer will know what and how to deal with each unique situation. Here are a few recent smushy, fluffy faces with a wide array of different types of health or behavioral traits that, with the right knowledge and tools, we help set them up for success to be the best that they can be. Deaf, blind, hip dysplasia, trachea issues, dog reactive, anxiety, etc. - your groomer knows. One-on-one grooming is so beneficial for a lot of these dogs, and I am so thankful to be able to assist our community with those needs.

I know I haven’t posted any recent freshly pup dates this last week, and I promise I will get back to sharing those sweet faces soon. However, this last week has been rough for my family. Our sweet Maybelline gained her wings at 13 years old and crossed the rainbow bridge. We are taking a much-needed break for the rest of the week and snuggling extra hard with our other fur members.

I'm one lucky groomer to have spent this furball's actual birthday giving him a pampering session - and what a special one it was! My little sidekick has been by my side since he was a teeny pup, and today he turned the big five! We celebrated by darting in and out of the salon, chasing that pesky squirrel and scoring some extra treats. Happy birthday, you fluffy goofball!
