Wrapping up Veterinary Receptionist Week, meet Brittany!

Brittany is the newest member of the Family Pet Health Center family.

She started at the practice at the beginning of March and is new to Vet Med, but loving every minute of it.

Brittany loves plants, animals, food and snacks. She is the pet parent to 1 fur baby, Ms. Cocoa Chanel, a little too big to be a lap dog.

With multiple hobbies including crocheting, painting, drawing, attempting to sew clothes, Brittany has plenty to fill her time but always chooses a nap with Cocoa over anything else.

We are so happy to have her on the team!

It's Veterinary Receptionist Week!

Meet Dawn.

Dawn, has been in the Veterinary field for 20 plus years, most of those as a receptionist/ front desk representative.

Her favorite part of her job is meeting new clients and educating them on how to provide the best care for their fur babies.

When Dawn is away from the clinic she loves spending time with her husband Bruce at Detroit Red Wings, Detroit Tigers and Chicago Bears games.

She’s also a huge reader devouring book after book in her library she shed. She also enjoys gardening.

Dawn is the proud fur mom of 3 cats: Scout, Hobbes and Leroy and a Pitbull named Casper.

Thank you Dawn for everything you do to keep the team running smoothly.

After many wonderful years with us, we’re saying goodbye to a truly special member of our team. 💙

Robyn has been an incredible Licensed Veterinary Technician, bringing compassion, dedication, and skill to every patient and every client she’s worked with. Her gentle care for our animals and her kindness toward their families have made a lasting impact that won’t soon be forgotten.

She’s been more than just a coworker—she’s been a friend, a mentor, and a steady presence through so many moments, both joyful and challenging. Our clinic simply won’t be the same without her.

While we’re sad to see her go, we’re also so excited for this next chapter in her journey. We know she’ll continue to do amazing things and touch lives wherever she goes.

Our amazing Veterinarian, Dr. Lisa Applegate, is now a proud grandparent to her very first granddaughter – a beautiful baby girl, Esmé Olivia Applegate! 👶✨

After years of caring for animals, we're thrilled to see her embrace this new role as THE COOLEST G-Ma EVER! Mom and baby are doing great, and our whole clinic family couldn’t be happier. 💕
