Meet Goose! He is a 1-2 year old fun loving pittie/rott mix looking for a home that caters to his needs and can provide structure. He is healthy and up to date on all vaccines and fully house and crate trained!

Goose’s current owner lives in South Boston, and Goose has not adjusted to the city well despite many efforts. In his best interest, it was decided that he would thrive in a different situation. He needs somebody who can offer him a quiet home and space to romp and play. He is extremely smart and an absolute love when he is happy and comfortable. He is reactive to other dogs, but gets along great if he’s been introduced properly, so a home with another dog would not be a problem. He needs structure and patience from someone willing to help build his confidence back up.

What packs a wad of nutrients, beneficial polyphenols, and flavor into a tiny, low cost package? Herbs!🌱

Used around the globe🌎 for healing since forever, herbs are concentrated functional foods. All culinary herbs EXCEPT chives (a cousin to onions) and nutmeg (with its myristicin, which can cause GI upset) are fair game - for dogs 🐶and cats 🐱! And the more plant diversity in the bowl, the better the microbiome health. So check your spice drawer, refrigerator, and garden for herbs to enjoy with your pet.

We need an emergency foster for 2, 10-year-old labs. Their Dad, who unfortunately is a recently retired police officer passed away tonight, and they have nowhere to go. 😭😭😭

They are both males, 10 yrs old, named Max and Bailey. They are good with kids and cats. We are unsure of other dogs right now as we are still trying to collect information.

FYI Marshfield Residents.

DOG LICENSING IS NOW OPEN!

Every dog owner is required to license their dog(s) yearly in Massachusetts. If you own four or more dogs, you must obtain a private kennel license to be inspected yearly.

The licensing period runs from April 1st until June 30th. You will be charged a late fee if you license after this period.

You can also face fines from Animal Control if your dog is to be found unlicensed. It is imperative that dogs are licensed yearly to ensure that they are vaccinated for rabies.

To license your dog, you can either do it online via the link below, or go to the Town Clerk’s Office at the Town Hall. You must bring proof of active rabies vaccine and proof of spay or neuter if your dog is not intact.
