And to educate the Public about responsible Humane pet care and over population thru social media and by providing Veterinary Clinics to our area! And Last year (2023) our shelter had a 98.44 percent success rate on Dogs getting adopted. This is calculated by number of dogs that lost their lives to old age (3) by number of dogs that were adopted in county and out of county (192) and then we X that
number by 100. This year we are on track to have an even higher percentage saved. The 3 older Dogs that are free now where ethnized when the veterinarian deemed their quality of life was not good due to blindness, strokes, and arthritis. We strive to save all but we will not let Dogs suffer in pain when it is time to let go. We are adding these statistics for Compleat transparency in our practices.
