We understand the uniqueness of each pet, and we are committed to working with each pet owner to help ensure his or her pet’s overall wellness. Our highly trained staff and state-of-the-art equipment are important to the care we provide, but that is only part of our story. You and your pet will be treated with care, compassion, and professionalism, which are critical to the friendship we hope to b

uild with you. We offer full service veterinary care for both small and large animals. MVC has an in-house laboratory, pharmacy, ultrasound, digital radiography, laser and high-speed dental equipment. We have an internal medicine specialist and perform a wide variety of surgical procedures. See our website for more information.

John Boyd Dunlop, a veterinary surgeon and graduate of the University of Edinburgh, grew tired of the rough ride on cobblestone streets. So—naturally—he invented and patented the pneumatic (air-filled) tire in 1888 to give his son a smoother bicycle ride. 💡

Dunlop went on to build the largest veterinary practice in Ireland… and unintentionally laid the groundwork for modern transportation. 🚗

Eventually, Dunlop Tire merged with Goodyear, but it all started with a veterinarian, an idea and a bumpy road.
