On my 20th year of shoeing I rewarded myself with the trailer I had been thinking about for 20 years.

On my 22nd year of shoeing, I realized I'm getting older and I'd like to keep going a bit longer.... so we built a room in our garage.
Put in a sauna, cold plunge, massage chair, and treadmill. That dumb treadmill has 10k workouts on it.. so there's no excuses.

As farriers we tend to have egos, we tend to think we're invincible, and tougher than most.
But we're not, we neglect our bodies and our minds. I made it so I have no excuses for neglecting my body. My mind well I live with 3 women.. so there's that...😆

Right front (bottom pic) on this mare was a little run under and out of balance according to the xrays. I didn't quite support her as much I wanted, but she's a barrel horse. So it's the balance of what is likely to stay on vs how much help can I give her. Only time will tell.
