🚨 EMERGENCY — RATTLESNAKE BITE 🚨
PLEASE HELP SAVE OUR FOSTER DOG! 💔

Over the weekend one of our beloved foster pups with LWAR was bitten by a rattlesnake along with two personal kitties. It appears the snake made its way into our outdoor cattery. We rushed them to the ER vet, and they received life-saving antivenin and critical care. Unfortunately it can take more then one vial of the antivenin. The vet bills are already high and we need your help! It’s been a long 48 hours but Puddy is receiving the best possible care!

Puddy Muddles has already been through so much and just when he’s finally feeling safe this nightmare happened. Puddy has been with us for about a year now, but due to his trauma he hasn’t been able to be placed. We are desperate to give them every chance to survive, but we can’t do it alone. Also huge thank you to Maricopa Fire Department for picking up the snake quickly!

Meet Maple! 🍁 Maple came to LWAR on 6/29 and gave birth on 6/30! She welcomed 4 healthy little ones. Maple came as a stray from the streets pregnant but is a very sweet girl! So far she’s been a great mom!

We haven’t posted much due to being so busy with all these cuties! Kitten season has just been non stop!These little ones will be ready for adoption soon. They all range from 9 weeks-11 weeks old 💙 Plus we have many adults available for adoption as well. 😸

We have some adoptable kittens at the Petco cattery in Maricopa! The two siamese and black kitten may be a bit shy but once you hold them they melt. They have made great progress in socializing! Stan the man (brown tabby kitten) is a social butterfly! He loves anything and everything!

Emergency foster needed!! Mom is NOT SOCIAL. Mama appears to possibly be a first time mom. She has her babies in a very dangerous location. The feeders to this colony keeps putting the babies in a safer area but she insisted on moving them around to other dangerous spots.

It is recommended to either have a free room for her and the babies or a large kennel. She is not to free roam a home. She isn’t mean but she doesn’t allow touches or anyone near her. The feeders have handled her babies without any issues.

PLEASE don’t be like this guy. Leaving animals on our porch is still not a good solution for that animal! Our homes are foster homes not an open shelter to the public. These 3 kittens are maybe around 2-3 days old but very critical and frail. We were not prepared in that moment to stop everything we were doing to tend to 3 kittens who are frantic and fighting for their lives. We are doing everything we can to save them. 💙

Stop by and meet Emerald! She came to LWAR as a surrender. She is currently located in the cattery in Maricopa. She is very sweet and definitely food driven! She does well with other cats and kids. She doesn’t seem phased by dogs. She would love a lap to snuggle on with endless belly rubs 💜
