Everyone, meet Sir Sticks-a-Lot! 🌿

This is my very first praying mantis, so I’m officially starting a whole new adventure! I’m excited to learn all about these fascinating little creatures 💞

I brought this little one home today, and we got acquainted right away. To my surprise, he wasn’t shy at all—he was super friendly, curious, and ready to explore.

A huge thank you to Jumping Jewels AZ for this handsome little gentleman (s*x unknown at this time but I’m saying bit for now 😆).

I DID A THING TODAY… 🕷️🖤 I held a tarantula!! 😳

If you told me four years ago I’d willingly hold a BIG spider, I would’ve laughed in your face. I used to have severe arachnophobia… but jumping spiders completely changed that for me. Now I genuinely appreciate all spiders (even the big boys 👀)… I’ve just always kept my handling to my jumpers.

But today at an expo… I went for it. And he was SO gentle. And his little face?! So stinkin’ cute. 🥹

I didn’t bring him home (yet!) because I want to do my homework first—proper care, enclosure, all the things. BUT… it’s only a matter of time now 😅

And what jumper addict can go to an expo and leave empty-handed? 🤣 🖤 Please welcome this adorable dark phase cutie to the Nevajaspoods crew… ✨ Salem ✨
