HITS Chicago last week was sure a HIT. 🥵💨

The horse show last week came with 100° temperatures, two days of smoke cancellations, and even a car accident—but we still had fun. Through all of it, our team kept smiling and staying positive. 💙🩵
It was an unforgettable horse show.

Here are some highlights:

🥇Chelsea Santos and Jan DeLong's Sportin' Fantastic won the Itty bitty jumper classic!!

🎖Charlotte Valentino and Daisy Demtschenko's Playstation One won the puddle jumper classic, with a blazing fast jump off. 🔥

🏅Natalya Mrizek and Anne McLean's Lucera won quite a few classes in their long stirrup

✨️Cheyenne Felice and her Grey Horizon competed for their first time at lamplight, and even won a class! Asher was such a good boy.

🎉Elsie Hund and Daisy Demtschenko's Celestial Crown had some great rounds and ribbons in the novice kids, and a stellar performance in the 2'6 hunter derby. Good job Elsie!

It was a beautiful day doing training rides!
I wish all days were like today. 🌞🌤

The horses were fabulous, and in order of appearance-

♡Teddy- jumped some of his first jumps outside!
♡Cessna- we did a ton of transitions. His front end lightened up and he was so good!
♡Spyro- actually trotted on a loose rein stretching his nose to the ground. 🤩
♡Zafira- worked on a lot of flat work, and ended with doing an effortless flying change from rt to left.
♡Draco- maybe had a little energy today, but was a good stretchy dragon.
♡Mister- was perfect in and out of the ring. Like literally we went all over the property.
♡Oakley- probably one of my best rides I've had on Oakley. She was so calm and happy.
♡Asher- worked on collecting and lengthening. Jumped all the things. He was super
♡Gatsby- once we woke up, he was so forward and felt great! Did lots of flat work
♡Sausage- also one of my best rides on Jimmy. Lots of leg yields and circle exercises. He was so much more balanced today!
♡Lucy- maybe the most energetic at almost 25 years young. 😆 I love the days that I get to ride Lucy. She is so fun.

The horses all felt so good in that Arion!!

37,000 steps later, I'm ready to go home.

Thank you Sara Klein-Lesko for all of your help. There's never a dull moment on Mondays.
