Birdie was quite difficult when she first came to us. Growling, lunging and barking at the other dogs constantly. After a lot of decompression time, love, confidence building and work we went from tarps blocking her complete view to taking them down one by one, to dogs playing and walking in the “hall” in front of her kennel room, to leashed walks and so much more and she is now able to be around other dogs with proper slow introductions. We will continue working on making her the best dog I know she can be! Birdie truly is a gem and whoever ends up adopting her is going to be the luckiest person on the planet!

HENRY IN HOUSTON TEXAS - 🥰 Welcome to our newest resident here at Big Paws K9 Foster House 💙 He was picked up as a stray in March of 2024, adopted out and then found as a stray again in June this yr and was returned back to the Alvin Animal Adoption Center - Alvin, TX.
Henry is a 1-2 year old Anatolian mix. Not only is he adorable, he is smaller in size and will stay that way!
Henry is super friendly with all humans, big and small. He is non reactive and great with dogs and cats. He is neutered and fully vetted, house trained.

Thank you Alvin Animal Adoption Center for taking such good care of Henry and all the other’s!
