As I have officially launched my new business venture Wise Wonderings, it is time to announce news I’ve held off on for a while now.

At this time Seahorse Stables will officially be closing our doors to sales and outside horses. This is to focus more on my personal horses and my new venture fully in line with my inner Wisdom Warrior through Wise Wonderings. I love all of the things learned, personal growth, people added to my inner circle, and messages received from every horse that came through the doors. Life isn’t always one clearly defined road, but a lot of little paths that lead us to the bigger one our soul knows it needs to be on. I’m just here following and learning from the journey my soul is taking me on.

The perfect home looks different for every horse. It can sometimes take a moment for us to figure out exactly what that looks like for each horse individually. Bella is one that struggled in finding what type of home was best for her. She was tried by countless people. Went on a trial that ended up doing more wrong than right. Asked strongly for certain things getting as many of them as I could give her. But in the end finally found the perfect home.

I am so so excited to announce that miss Bella has found the perfect home teaching riders how to train horses and jump courses of varying technicalities. How to love, and be loved. How to finesse the job of training young horses with love but stern and clear intentions. Bella is officially the newest addition to Lake Erie College School of Equine Studies’s string of Hunter/Jumper horses. She is already so loved and spoiled. Every student, barn member, and faculty member I’ve spoken with or seen interact with her have said or shown how much they adore her. Bella is in heaven as she gets to be told daily how beautiful she is by countless people. She gets to enjoy mental and physically engaging rides. I can hardly wait to see how much she progresses over the years and am honored to have been able to work with such an awesome mare/horse and love that I had the opportunity to give back to my alma mater.

Congrats Bella on landing such a great forever home.

It’s been a wicked busy week here this past week so I’m a little late with this post.

Love really can happen at first sight. Hayley Pearlman new immediately that Rain was the horse for her. Their first meeting I knew it was a match made by someone else’s hand other than my own. Rain couldn’t be softer or happier when Hayley is around her. The logistics took a little time but I’m so so so happy that Rain is finally home with a person of her own!

Here is to yet another happy pair that will hopefully have many many years of good memories to come! ♥️♥️

Rain has settled in very nicely this past week.

We are continuing to work on getting her weight and muscle up to where it should be, but she has settled into the barn like she’s been here for ages. Sweet as pie, and wants to please is the going theme for this girl.

Today we lunged in the indoor for the first time. She didn’t pay any mind to the loud traffic outside and slowly figured out what free lunging is all about. Then she stood like an old pro at the outdoor wash rack while getting hosed off and a couple pictures snapped.

This one has all the parts you want in a partner. We just need to help her figure out how they all connect. She’s going to make someone very lucky. I can hardly wait to see where she progresses. 🩵🩵

New girl on the block.

Hot August Storm or “Rain” arrived a few days ago and is slowly figuring out the ways of farm life.

What a beautiful and sweet girl this one is! She had a long haul to get here so was pretty sweaty and tired upon arrive and wasted no time rolling the travel jitters off. Yesterday she got a nice bath to clean up and feel like a new woman where she stood like a champ without moving an inch. She was a little worried for a moment about the traffic but took to it easily and quickly.

We’ve figured out the treats are pretty awesome. Luna is not to be messed with but a good leader at the same time. The hay nets make for a good scratching post. And that alfalfa mashes aren’t too shabby.

I’m looking forward to getting to know her more, seeing where she excels, and finding her person when the time is right. Stay tuned to watch her progress. 🩵

In the 18 months that I’ve had the pleasure of owning Rose I have seen her this content, relaxed, and instantly happy all at the same time only twice. All three parts separately, absolutely numerous times, but all three together at the same time…. Twice.

First time was Sunday when Rose and Josie met. Second time was when Rose came home to Josie today.

My heart legitimately could not be happier to announce that Rose has finally found her person (or more like her family as mom was equally as happy and in love as her kid is). This is only the beginning of an amazing and beautiful partnership. And when I say I can hardly wait to see what these beautiful girls accomplish I mean it with every fiber of my being.

A piece of my heart left today covered in rose gold and all the chrome. But in loosing that piece I know I’ve gained new family members.

Rose has had a lot of interest, but no one quite yet ready to fully pull the trigger. She’s lined up to do her first 2’9 division this coming weekend. Message me through here or via text if you want to meet her at home or at the show. This is a lovely mare at a more than reasonable price. Get her before training continues and tag increases. ♥️♥️

It’s been a busy couple of weeks. Everyone has gotten some time off property in different ways. We’ve all had some really great schooling moments (both at home and off property). Today we wrap up a busy April with an off property lesson with Bella and our awesome trainer Linda Radigan. Very proud of Bella and the work we got done in a short amount of time as we ended a little early because she was so ready to work and listen to every little cue today. Really proud of the progress and work this girl has put in.

Thank you Hinckley Equestrian Center for letting us haul in today for our lesson! As always the facility is gorgeous, footing great, and people welcoming.

Rose has been a little tight and sore coming out of winter. So we’ve gotten a little extra TLC thanks to Melissa Young and her PEMF. Today we were finally able to get some much needed work done on her head, face, and upper neck. Despite her serious side eye, we all know she loves the work being done. The improvements made in just a few sessions is always fun to watch and experience.

And of course, what barn work would be complete without an assistant?? Kora was a rockstar PEMF session assistant. … Just ask her.
