As trainers and owners, it’s easy to get caught up in commands, structure, and progress. But at the end of the day, training should strengthen the relationship not take the joy out of it. Your dog deserves guidance, but they also deserve freedom to be playful, curious, and loved for who they are. The goal was never perfection. The goal was partnership. 🐕

this is such a great reminder for anyone that is dog training. Whether you and your dog has just started your journey and may be looking at social media and feeling they need to compare…. Please don’t be so hard on yourself !
Social media is a place that shows highlights, but real dog training comes from all the mistakes, all the resets all the reps that you weren’t proud of every single aspect of your training matters. As long as you’re showing up every day for yourself and your doggy you are making progress.👏🩷
