INTRODUCTORY RIDING LESSONS!

Ready to learn the basics of caring for and working with horses? Join Carroll County Recreation & Parks for an Introductory Riding Lesson and discover the fundamentals of safe, proper horse handling!

Lesson Includes:
Learn how to groom a horse, including the mane and tail
Learn how to properly pick and clean a horse’s hooves
Learn how to safely and properly lead and control a horse on the ground
Get an introduction to riding

What to Wear:
• Jeans
• Hard-soled, closed-toe shoes

Please Note: Riding time will be limited during these introductory lessons. The focus is on learning proper horse care, handling, and safety.

Whether you're new to horses or looking to build your confidence around them, this is a great opportunity to get started!
