WHAT DOES YOUR ADOPTION FEE HELP WITH?
Our rescue is not foster-based, unlike other rescues. As a result, we incur extremely high rent costs for our building and lack discounts with our veterinarian.
Consequently, every expense falls on us, making this a costly program to run, especially considering our small and underpaid staff.
Your adoption fee contributes to the following:
- Veterinary Care: Expenses include weekly hourly vet exams, vaccinations, dewormings, parvo testing, microchipping, emergency visits, and routine care.
- Rent Payments: Your fee helps cover our rent costs.
- Supplies: We provide various supplies, including dog food, laundry soap, mops, brooms, bowls ,dog toys ETC.
- Transportation: We handle most of our own transportation, including driving days, routine maintenance of our transport van, gas expenses, and hotel costs.
- Adult Adoption Fees: We offer lower adult adoption fees because they are already fully vetted and require less personal care.
