"I spent $999 on this GPS dog collar and I'd do it again. See, the real question isn't, 'Is this worth it?' The real question is, 'Do any cheaper options exist that do just as good of a job?'

SpotOn does cost more upfront than other GPS fences, but for good reason, we invest in more premium technology for accuracy and reliability. But don't take our word for it, watch this video to see The Sniff Test independently test SpotOn against cheaper options https://youtube.pulse.ly/irkp6xea2e

Did you know SpotOn is the ONLY GPS dog fence collar designed to work in heavy tree cover? 🌲

The largest antenna on the market plus the only dual-band, dual-feed antenna and receiver means reliable coverage, even in dense woods. But don’t just take our word for it. Here’s SpotOn customer Ricky:

“This collar works very well in rural, tree-covered areas in WV. I was a little skeptical about how effective it would be, but I was very impressed. It worked great on our 16-acre lot.”

“This is great, but it would NEVER work for my high-energy dog!”

We see your comments, and we get it, especially if you have a high-energy dog. We could tell you about the largest antenna on the market or the free 1:1 sessions with a certified trainer. But we won’t. Instead, let a fellow high-energy dog owner, Richard, tell you.

“My Weimaraner, Bella, has the freedom to run and play on my 1-acre lot, and I don’t have to worry about her getting in the road,” he says.

Training is a must for any dog, especially high-energy ones, and every SpotOn customer gets in-app training videos plus a free virtual session for the extra stubborn ones.

“She learned how the fence works by her 4th lesson, and it’s been incredible how well she obeys it. I can draw a fence anywhere I want to go beforehand, and when I arrive it’s all set up. She follows the warning tones, turns around, and heads back. Very, very satisfied.”

Mary started training her 13-week-old Lab puppy on SpotOn, and day one is already going well.

"When the tone sounded my dog stopped and looked around, then looked at me." Walking the perimeter of the zone together, "she stopped each time the collar sounded."

"That wouldn't work on a high-prey drive dog like a husky."

We hear this a lot, and it's a fair concern, huskies are smart, stubborn, and high-energy. But many huskies use the SpotOn GPS system every day without issue.

"Keeps my Siberian husky in my yard flawlessly. Don't skip the training part. My dog is so happy to run freely on our 2 acres. Expensive but very worth it," says one customer.

Training is what makes the difference. It's why every SpotOn customer has access to in-depth training resources in the app, and for the extra stubborn dogs, a free 1:1 virtual training session with a certified dog trainer, fully customized to you and your dog.

When professional dog trainer Robert LaPerriere put GPS collars to the test, he looked at one critical factor: consistency.

After evaluating both open-field and heavy tree-cover environments, his conclusion was clear. The SpotOn Nova system was far more consistent and reliable.

He noted that SpotOn's advanced GPS technology maintained accurate, repeatable boundary detection throughout his testing.

For large property owners, this is more than a technical spec. It directly affects how your dog learns and respects their boundaries.
