🐾 Holly’s Spa Day ✨

Can we take a moment for this gorgeous girl?! 😍 Holly came in for a well-deserved spa day and left looking absolutely beautiful!

Holly received a major de-shed treatment + contour haircut to remove all that loose, impacted undercoat and tidy up her natural shape — without taking away from that beautiful German Shepherd coat. 🐕✨

Why de-shedding matters:
Double-coated breeds like German Shepherds naturally hold onto a LOT of loose undercoat. A thorough professional de-shed helps remove that buildup, allows air to move through the coat, supports healthy skin, reduces shedding around the house, and keeps the coat doing the job it was designed to do. 💛

📸🐾 STITCH UNDERSTOOD THE ASSIGNMENT! 🐾📸

Fresh, fluffy, and apparently VERY aware of the camera. 😂 From the big nose boop to the little paw wave, Stitch made sure we got every angle after his spa day! 💙✂️

✨ Grooming isn’t just about looking cute! Regular grooming helps remove loose coat, prevents tangles and buildup, keeps nails maintained, and gives us an opportunity to notice changes in your pet’s skin, coat, ears, and overall condition.

And Stitch? He just considers the photoshoot part of the service. 😂🐶📸

💙 PERCY! 💙

Those eyes. That chocolate coat. That serious little face. 😍 Percy the Husky definitely knows how to work the camera after his spa day!

Huskies are double-coated dogs, meaning underneath that beautiful outer coat is a dense undercoat that naturally sheds throughout the year. Regular professional bathing, thorough drying, brushing, and de-shedding can help remove loose undercoat before it ends up all over the house — while keeping the skin and coat healthy. 🫧🐾

And one important reminder: double coats are designed to protect and insulate the dog, which is why we focus on proper coat maintenance rather than shaving whenever possible.

Percy left clean, brushed out, feeling fresh, and of course finished off with the perfect summer bandana. ☀️🌺

🐾✨ PUPPY SPOTLIGHT: OLIVE! ✨🐾

Can we talk about how ADORABLE Olive is?! 🥹💗 This sweet girl came to Life With Paws® for her very first puppy groom with us, and she did AMAZING!

Those first grooming appointments are about so much more than getting a cute haircut. ✂️🐶 They’re an important part of teaching puppies that grooming is a normal, safe part of life. Getting them comfortable with the sounds of clippers and dryers, having their paws and face handled, standing on the grooming table, brushing, bathing, and nail care while they’re young can make a HUGE difference in their confidence as they grow.

Our goal with puppy appointments is always positive experiences first. We want them leaving proud, comfortable, and ready to come back again. 💙
