The Fourth of July can be a RUFF time for our four-legged friends, so we’re sharing a few tips to keep tails wagging and stress levels low. Think thunder shirts, early potty breaks, and a treat stash worthy of independence.

July 3rd & 5th: Open 10 AM – 3 PM
July 4th: Closed for walk-in services, but don’t worry—we’re still fully staffed and spoiling our overnight guests as they so deserve.

Meet Kristina — one of Lucky's Leads!

Kristina has been part of the Lucky’s family since 2011, and in that time she’s done it all — from animal care and front desk to leadership and management. These days, she holds things down during the overnight shift making sure every pup is tucked in, snuggled up, and dreaming sweetly of tomorrow’s play group.

Her passion for animals started young and led her to a degree in Animal Biotechnology & Conservation from Delaware Valley University. She worked alongside vets in small animal, large animal, and alternative medicine fields before deciding hands-on care was her true calling — and we’re so glad it brought her to us.

Kristina brings a calm presence, deep experience, and a whole lot of heart to every shift. Whether she's caring for your pets or spending time at home with her children, Husky (Blu), and her ducks (yes — ducks!), she's all about kindness, respect, and high standards of care.

When she’s not at Lucky’s, Kristina enjoys gardening, reading, baking, hiking, and time with her family. She’s thoughtful, knowledgeable, and someone we’re so proud to have on our team.
