At Maui Pig Sanctuary, we are a registered 501c3 non-profit organizationproviding over 90 rescued pigs with a lifetime of proper medical attention, nutritious food, and abundant love and affection across our two Maui locations in Makawao and Kahului. The mission of the MPS is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for pigs in need,
including but not limited to abandoned, abused, and neglected pigs, by offering them lifelong care, medical treatment, and appropriate living conditions.

We get to see the piggies from someone else’s lens.. can’t wait to share the rest of the pics..
It’s been a challenging week all the pigs are healthy and happy we’ve had some wonderful tours, V8 got her first sponsor yay!!we rebuilt Fencing and moved the fire Pigs to another section of the pasture for the summer. Now we’re adding new shade cloths and building a new wallow all good things but then nonstop rain is crazy. My days have been 6 AM to 9 PM nonstop work I’m basically a one woman show with one extremely good handyman to assist and a couple solid volunteers with a few new ones in the wings.The Internet has been down so I haven’t been able to post much. Our fundraiser has stalled out at $3800 which is wonderful thank you everyone who donated so far we really need help reaching the goal of $10,000 for this month. Please check out our fundraiser.
I hope to be able to reopen my business in the middle of the month and that will alleviate a lot of financial stress..

Hanging out with the fire pigs today it’s been almost 3 years since we got them out of the Lahaina fire zone This is the king boar Tunda and one of his queen‘s Mamacita. You might remember her she came into the Sanctuary pregnant and had her lovely little Piglets affectionately known as the Chihuahuas….
