We are the third and fourth generations of the Michel family to operate this farm located in southwestern Montgomery County near Spring Creek. Carla's grandparents, Elizabeth and Fritz Michel purchased the farm in 1921 and together with their son Maurice (Carla's Dad) grew produce to sell in the Houston produce market. Over the years, the family has raised vegetables, watermelons, turkeys and catt

le here. Today, we are growing and harvesting approximately 15 acres of Virginia Pine and Leyland Cypress trees. We also have a full-time, year-round nursery operation here as well as a second greenhouse facility located near Waller, Texas. We grow seasonal perennial and annual color as well as poinsettias and specialty hanging baskets such as bougainvilleas. Our family is extremely pleased and honored to continue our 100 years of agricultural heritage! We are members and Bob is a past president of the Texas Christmas Tree Growers Association; Go Texan; Grand Champion Christmas Tree of Texas for 2001, 2002, 2006, 2007 & 2008; Supporters of Trees For Troops sponsored by the National Christmas Tree Association.

Santa visits Spring Creek Growers on the weekends in the Farmhouse. Tickets are available in the gift shop for $15 per family. You may take may take as many photos as you’d like with your personal camera.

Santa and Mrs. Claus will not be hosting Breakfast/Evening with Santa for the 2025 season, but they are so excited to see you at the farm!

One more day! Today will be our last day of the season. Open for pre-cut trees only, 2-5:30pm. Merry Christmas! 🎄

We have a great selection of pre-cut fir trees still available in the pre-cut barn from 2-5:30pm through Friday, December 20. Our fields for choose and cut trees, the Bakery, Farm Store, hayrides and games area are now closed for the season.

Fraser, Nordmann & Noble Firs available in various heights while supplies last. Fraser Firs are the most fragrant, Nordmann Firs have dark green, shiny, long needles while Noble Firs shed the least with a blue hue to their needles. Happy Tree Hunting!
