We are the third and fourth generations of the Michel family to operate this farm located in southwestern Montgomery County near Spring Creek. Carla's grandparents, Elizabeth and Fritz Michel purchased the farm in 1921 and together with their son Maurice (Carla's Dad) grew produce to sell in the Houston produce market. Over the years, the family has raised vegetables, watermelons, turkeys and catt

le here. Today, we are growing and harvesting approximately 15 acres of Virginia Pine and Leyland Cypress trees. We also have a full-time, year-round nursery operation here as well as a second greenhouse facility located near Waller, Texas. We grow seasonal perennial and annual color as well as poinsettias and specialty hanging baskets such as bougainvilleas. Our family is extremely pleased and honored to continue our 100 years of agricultural heritage! We are members and Bob is a past president of the Texas Christmas Tree Growers Association; Go Texan; Grand Champion Christmas Tree of Texas for 2001, 2002, 2006, 2007 & 2008; Supporters of Trees For Troops sponsored by the National Christmas Tree Association.

We love watching little ones visit the farm then come back years later running through the trees, hot chocolate in hand. Creating those memories, year after year, is what the farm is all about for us.

Sunday, December 14 is the last day for farm activities this season, including hayrides, Santa, the Bakery and the Farm Store. Enjoy all the festive fun!

We’ll remain open for pre-cut trees only Monday, December 15 – Friday, December 19, from 2–5:30 PM, with a great selection of Noble and Fraser Firs still available.

Thank you for letting us be part of your Christmas memories then, now and for years to come. 🌲

🌲 Farm Update 🌲 While we have a great selection of pre-cut trees still available, our fields are now closed for choose and cut trees. The Bakery will be serving up delights. Browse the Farm Store to find Christmas treasures. Jump in the hay jump, have a festive face-off at the duck races, explore the Christmas Gnome’s Home Sweet Gnome Home and say howdy to Jenny the donkey. Our fire pits will be blazing and ready for a s’more. Santa will be flying down to the farm Saturday, December 13 from 10am-2pm and Sunday, December 14 from 11-2pm, available for photos in the Farmhouse.

Noble & Fraser Firs available in various heights while supplies last. Fraser Firs are the most fragrant, while Noble Firs shed the least with a blue hue to their needles. Happy Tree Hunting!

✨ What a day in Tomball! Our family had the sweetest time in the Christmas parade yesterday, and we’re so thankful to the group of antique tractors for welcoming us with open arms. There’s nothing like the small-town charm of waving to familiar faces, new friends and everyone who came out to celebrate the season.

This year also felt especially meaningful as our 1947 Farmall tractor rolled down Main Street once again. The very same one driven in Tomball parades by our grandpa, dad and now son in the many years of the Tomball Christmas parade.

As we celebrate our 33rd year as a Christmas tree farm on family land loved and in operation since 1921, our hearts are truly full. ❤️🎄
